Pleasant, and informative.
He was cordial and very professional. Would recommend to others.
A real pro. On time and great staff.
Very timely, polite and professional.
Highly skilled physician and office staff that you can trust.
Great doctor! Excellent patient interaction skills. Performed minor procedure smoothly. Explained everything very well. A good listener. Comfortable, well-decorated office space. Staff efficient and pleasant. Would highly recommend Dr Aftergut.
I honestly have nothing but good things to say. The appointment process was easy, paperwork minimal, and on top of all that he was on-time. My appointment was a 10:15 and I was talking to him by 10:20. He was quick and efficient. He's also a nice guy, but I can see why others were not so keen on his personality. He didn't make a lot of small talk and cut right to the point - which was great for me. But again, I can see how some people might find that awkward with no "warm-up" or pleasantries, if you will. (It's probably how he stays on time in all honesty) Overall he's a great doctor and very knowledgable in his field. Will definitely be going back to him for annual check-ups.
It was a great visit, he answered all of my questions and concerns. He was very patient and knowledgeable.
Very to the point and helpful.
Appointment was quick and easy to set up. They had a same week appointment available. I downloaded the new patient documents from their website and check-in was a breeze. Would highly recommend Dr. Kent Aftergut to anyone.
Can't wait to go back. Excellent !!!
I liked the ease of making the appointment. The staff was very nice. Dr. Aftergut was very professional.
Very knowledgeable very nice and very professional.
He is very nice, professional, and he is a great dermatologist!
I felt rushed...he wasn't as personable as I expected, especially for a new patient....I have a follow up appointment so we will see how that goes.
Very nice, pleasant, professional and courteous experience. First experience with a dermatologist. Would highly recommend Dr. Aftergut.
He wasted no time in assessing me and my treatment plan. I liked him and I look forward to our follow up.
I was in and out in about 30 minutes, from check-in, to exam, to payment. Wow!
Great doctor, very thorough!
I went in for an annual skin cancer exam. He was very professional and polite. He explained what he was looking for and asked really relevant questions and actually listened. Highly recommend!
Very professional and helpful
Dr. Aftergut was very impersonal. I saw him last year for mild persistent acne that was easily treated with a discontinued medication I got from a doctor back home. Aftergut told me that my acne is hormonal and absolutely will not get better unless I go on hormones, and then tried to shame me for not wanting to use the birth control pill. When I told him that I do not want to take hormones because they will amplify the mood swings, depression, anxiety, and BRUTAL breast swelling/tenderness I experience every month, he told me that these side-effects are "mild." When I asked about the teeny, faint little wrinkles forming on my forehead, he told me nothing could be done except get injections. I was only 21! [They've since vanished after using a gel from my GP.] He then told me that I need to start using a very, very fancy skincare regimen that just happens to be sold exclusively at his office. D Magazine says that Dr. Aftergut is one of the best dermatologists in the city, but I left the appointment feeling robbed.
It was great. Dr. Aftergut is very thoughtful, thorough and patient. And, his assistant, Irma, was so nice and helpful. Very glad to have been referred to him.
Very efficient visit without feeling rushed. I'll be back to see Dr. Aftergut again
Great Doctor. my skin has improved so much. love the face cleanser they sell too.
Very good experience. More take home instructions would be appreciated.
Came with a12 year old boy to remove a wart, both the Dr and the nurse were very patience and installed trust and confidence enabling the quick resolution of the problem. My son would come back if needed.
Dr. Aftergut knew what my issue was right away by looking at my skin. He really knew what he was talking about and answered all of my questions thoroughly! He knew the right medicine I needed to be on which was so encouraging after being disappointed by many dermatologists in the past who didn't seem to understand my condition. He even gave me a shot in the office that helped right away. I am truly glad I found Dr. Aftergut - he is one of the best!
Very professional and expedient.
Excellent experience. He was rt on time; took care of business & I left as a happy camper
Great. Brief and efficient. Comfortable.
Excellent! I had a rash on various parts of my body, and the medication has cleared it up. One issue I had, not with Dr. Aftergut, but with LabCorp, where I went to get my blood tested for hepatic function. The lab was awfully slow, about an hour's wait for my turn.
Very fast in and out. The office/front desk staff made a couple of errors (most notably handing me another person's information) but the visit itself was very fast and efficient.
He did not listen to my concerns, cutting me off in mid sentence many times, not willing to discuss things with me. I felt he was rude. He rushed in and rushed out. I left highly disappointed. I will not be returning to his office.
I waited almost an hour before being seen by the doctor and over 40 minutes in the waiting area. I noticed when I signed in that there were 3 patients scheduled within 15 minutes of each other (actually there were 2 of us at the same time). The physician was pleasant and answered my questions. However, he did not fully examine the skin on my face for anything else. I went in for what I thought was rosacea and he just looked at the one spot on my cheek. I felt like he should have examined my face thoroughly for any other abnormalities but the exam was limited to my cheeks. They did call in my prescription to the pharmacy though and provided some samples. Overall, I was pleased with the doctor, but the wait was toooo long.
very professional explained everything and took his time with me.
Very pleasant and forthcoming with the best treatment options. The only thing I would recommend is that the staff read the charts before making assumptions on the purpose of the patient's visit.
Great, although Dr. wrote and Rx and also an over the counter medicine, however I never rec'd, the info on the over the counter drug. Thanks!
Very professional and knowledgeable. Unfortunately I had a disappointing experience in the execution of the office delivering my prescriptions to the pharmacy. The were supposed to send my prescriptions electronically to my local pharmacy, but when I went to pick up the prescriptions the following day they had no record of receiving said prescriptions. Now I will have to spend time calling the office to ask for them to resubmit my prescriptions and subsequently make a second trip to the pharmacy in hopes that they will be processed.
Excellent customer service, attractive attentive staff
Great doctor, very efficient and knowledgeable
Professional, efficient and caring. Perfect!
Great experience. Promptly seen at my appointment time. He took the time to read my chart from my other doctor. Asked a lot of questions. Explained in detail what he believed the issue to be. While my issue had been misdiagnosed by three other doctors over two months, I followed Dr. Aftergut's instructions and was feeling better in two days!
Dr. Aftergut is fantastic. He took the time to answer my questions and discuss treatment options. He is very smart and really cared. I recommend him to everyone now!
highly recommended Doctor
The receptionist(s) could be more professional and friendly. The doctor came in for a minute and looked at my problem area on my skin and told me to come back in a month to see what happens with the spot on my face. I could have done sent him a picture of my face and he could have told me that over email. A waste of a co-pay. :-(
Dr. Aftergut and his staff were great. In and out before appt time. Very efficient and professional. Would highly recommend.
Extremely Fast in and out i like it!
I thought he knew his onions
I had a mold removed it was quick and no pain!
It was my first time to visit Dr. Aftergut and I will definitely refer him to friends and family in search of a dermatologist. He spent ample time with me during my appointment and presented multiple options for treatment – a rarity in most doctors’ office.
Dr. Aftergut was very professional. The office is very nice and decorated well. I will use him for all of my dermatological needs in the future.
I was a new patient. I got there 10 minute before my appt, filled out my paper work by 1pm and waited 30 minutes before being taken to a room. I then sat in a room for 20 minutes before seeing the Dr. I didn't hear what I wanted to hear, but it was I expected to hear. The office was really nice, but a little difficult to get to (Medical City office)being that you have to park in the parking garage (which was crowded), then go to the 7th floor. Then took a while to get out of the parking garage.I expected their to be at least a window to the office door, but there wasn't. Kind of depressing.
Excellent experience! Very nice and extremely efficient!
He had me in and out of there in record time which I greatly appreciate. Usually you wait an hour and then see the doctor for 2 minutes. Not the case here.
Detailed, hightly professional
All my concerns about my skin were answered and checked carefully.
Dr. Aftergut was very informatative. We did not wait in the waiting room or the patient room more than 5 minutes. He was very understanding to my teenage daughter's acne problems. We have been to several dermatologist that acted like they didn't care to help her.
I was very impressed by his bedside manner, knowledge, and ability to engage and explain to patients his understanding of their condition. The nurse was very capable and quick to write everything he was saying and explain it thoroughly after. I was surprised that the wait was so long when I had printed patient forms in advance. I was also surprised that the receptionist could not make change.
I went to Dr. Kent after I had a not so great experience with another derm in the area. Dr. Kent really listened to my concerns and took care of them quickly and carefully.
