I was extremely late because my phone which I was using for directions died and I couldn't find the building. The doctor still saw me and was very professional.

I was at my appointment on time, but still had to wait over an hour to see him. He did not say he was sorry to have kept me waiting. He did not seem to want to know about my body or mri, or leg pain, or anything else with my health. Just my knee(which is why I went to him for swelling of my knee). He took xrays, gave me a numbing shot and drained fluid from my knee and gave me a cortizone shot. My knee is getting back to normal and for that I am very grateful. He did not even laugh at my jokes, has no personality (not that that is important).

Dr. Nadel grew up in Newport Beach, California before heading east for his education and medical training. He received his undergraduate education at Cornell University, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree, and then continuing his education at Chicago Medical School, Finch University of Health Sciences where he received both Masters and Medical degrees. Following an Orthopaedic Residency at the State University of New York Stony Brook campus, Dr. Nadel completed a Fellowship in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy at Boston Medical Center under the direction of Anthony Schepsis, MD. He has served as the team physician for the Boston University and University of Massachusetts – Boston athletic teams and continues working with athletes, now volunteering as the physician for the Sierra Canyon High School football team. Dr. Nadel is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. His practice includes Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy, Reconstructive Surgery of the Shoulder, Elbow, Knee, and Ankle, as well as General Orthopaedics and fracture care. He joined the Center for Orthopaedic Specialists in 2005. Dr. Nadel’s personal interests are tennis, skiing, and golf. He resides in the West Valley and is currently available to see patients in both West Hills and Westlake Village.

I think he was efficient and helpful but a little tough to get information from. Overall, I like him and would go to him again. I'm not sure if I would go out of my way to refer him. I would if the situation was appropriate.
