Khalil A. Khatri, M.D. is a Dermatologist and Cosmetic Laser Surgeon. His approach is very individual and personalized and his patients admire him for his mild manners and friendly nature. Whether educating a patient seeking cosmetic surgery or a last minute referral, he and his staff provide the highest level of professional integrity and service. Dr. Khatri has been working with lasers for about fifteen years. Internationally known for his pioneering work with the Erbium:YAG laser for resurfacing, he has directed laser-training courses for physicians throughout the world.
Dr. Khatri is a frequent invited speaker at scientific conferences where he shares his research and clinical experience with his colleagues.He has continued his research in developing new lasers and treatments to improve the cosmetic appearance of photo-damaged skin. He is working on developing new technology to treat and remove cellulite and fat. He helped to develop the new generation of lasers to treat wrinkles, acne scars and Melasma by using the “Factional” technology. Dr. Khatri also regularly publishes laser research articles in peer reviewed medical journals.
Dr. Khatri is a fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery and the Royal Society of Medicine, England. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, American Society of Cosmetic Dermatology & Aesthetic Surgery, World Association of Laser Therapy, European Society for Laser Dermatology and Optical Society of America.
