Originally from rural eastern Canada, I attended medical school at Saba University School of Medicine. I completed both adult psychiatry residency and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the University of Louisville in Kentucky.
I treat a broad range of psychiatric diagnoses with therapy, medications or both if needed. One of my specialties is the treatment of borderline personality disorder with close attention to preventive treatment in adolescence. My treatment philosophy is about helping patients find a sense of agency with a focus on how to live their lives while facing the difficulties and challenges of mental illness.
