I was searching a new pediatrician for my newborn after the one we were referred to by the hospital was horrible. Unlike the other pediatrician, Dr. Lazarus was very detailed and thorough with my son's screening. She did NOT seem to be in a hurry, she actually listened to our concerns, engaged in detailed conversation when asked things and felt like she was interested in viewing my son. The office staff was super friendly, office was very clean and helped me by explaining why my insurance wasn't going through (not their fault). I'm so glad I booked her for my son's pediatrician.

We had to find a new pediatrician because our insurance changed and the original pediatrician doesn’t take our insurance. I searched for weeks, got referrals from a friends, none accepted our insurance. Finally found a few and when I read Dr Lazarus’ bio and saw how close the location was, I scheduled the appointment. Of course the first appointment takes longer because of the dreaded paperwork, but we were seen right after. My daughter wasn’t shy to talk because of how comfortable she made her. She seemed genuine and talked directly to my daughter to show she cared about her health. So glad I picked Dr Lazarus!

Very patient with us, not rushed and made sure to explain things. Office staff were pleasant and we didn't wait long considering we arrived after our appointment time. I think we found our new family pediatrician.

Dr. Lazarus is AMAZING! I'm so glad I chose her to become my newborn pediatrician. She answered all of my questions and throughly explained everything to me.

The doctor had an emergency that made our wait time 2.5 hours, which I understand wasn't her fault. I was assured that it wasn't the norm and every one was very apologetic about it. Other than the wait time, she was wonderful and very helpful.

Dr. Lazarus was fantastic. I am A first time mom and she was very sweet and professional! That includes all of the nurses as well! I highly recommend this office for absolutely anyone

I will start with saying that my experience with Dr. Lazarus has always been a good one, but sadly after my last experience in her office I will NEVER return. Not only is the wait always more than an hour and at times a few hours, her staff is the rudest group of women I have EVER encountered. On my very last visit I was informed (after waiting 20 minutes without even being acknowledged) that my son would not be getting his second dose of the flu shot because they had run out. WHY was I not informed before I had to take off work (because Lord only know how long these appointments will take) and before I drove across town in morning traffic???? I have decided I will never return and now I'm on the hunt of another doctor.

I was satisfied with her professionalism and also her knowledge. She made my husband and I feel more comfortable about our son's illness and gave excellent information that there were no need to ask quwstions for clarification. Also my son does not cooperate well with doctors but he was so cooperative and not fuzzy when Doctor Lazarus examined him. Thanks Dr, L you will be my son's pediatrician once we remain in the NW Houston Area.
She was great!
The staff need tone let go and a new set rehired! Did not feel rush by dr., she was very sweet and thorough. Problem is the staff. Lights were still out in the reception area while they were in the office chatting away. I made an early 8:00 am appt. When I finally got their attention from the dark reception, they had this huge argument with me about not having an appt. I had an email confirmation but they insisted they were overbooked and asked me to drive around town with a 5 year old running a 103 fever to find their other office location even though I was the first and only patient there at the time. Needless to say the dr must have disagreed with them because she took care of us.
She is good but personnel is calm and non cooperative. They do not really helping patients. The waiting room was too cold. The children leave office more sick than before coming to the visit. If you can choose another office do it.

First, I'd like to say how much I love Dr. Lazarus. She is great! She is kind, caring and very knowledgeable. I feel extremely comfortable with her being my daughter's pediatrician. Unfortunately, she has the WORST staff I have EVER encountered at any Dr's Office! Yikes. They are extremely rude and don't give a crap about patients. After seeing the Pediatrician, I went to check out and I asked if I could schedule my next appointment and the woman at the front desk told me "You can call if you'd like to schedule another appointment". I responded with, "I'd like to go ahead and take care of that now" to which she replied with, "you can call". This is just one example of MANY about how unhelpful her staff is. Something else I must comment on is the wait time. It's ridiculous! I purposely schedule my appointments first thing in the morning in hopes of avoiding the extreme wait times, but at this place it's futile. I arrive 5 minutes before opening and they open 5 minutes late. I sign in and wait... wait... wait... Behind who? I have NO idea! This morning, being the very first person in the office WITH an appointment, I managed to wait an entire hour before I was able to see the pediatrician. Despite the fact that I absolutely love the Pediatrician, the combination of obnoxious staff members and extreme wait time has me considering going somewhere else. Maybe you should too.
She is an awesome, caring physician!
