Tarashansky was great, but the audiologist was beyond fantastic. Wait time was terrible though. 2 and half hours waiting while other people who came way before me went in. Not cool.

Dr. Tarashansky started his dedication to the field of Otolaryngology at the age of 14 as a part of a special High School program. He completed three and a half years of the Medical Institution in Russia, relocated the the United States, where he completed his extended undergraduate education in biochemistry and obtained his medical degree from the State University of New York at Brooklyn. His commitment to facial surgery resulted in completion of his residency in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at Long Island College Hospital/Downstate Medical Center. He expanded his expertise in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery or the nose and face doing a Fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with a world renowned facial plastic surgeon, E.Gaylon McCollough in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Dr. Tarashansky is a board certified Otolaryngology, Head and Neck, and Fellowship trained Facial Plastic Surgeon.
He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery and the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He shares his commitment to the conscious, individualized patient care in the setting of private practice with the educational responsibilities as a clinical resident teacher at Long Island Jewish Hospital and a clinical assistant professor at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center. He is on staff at North Shore University Hospital at Plainview, North Shore University Hospital at Syosset, Long Island Jewish Hospital/Schneider’s Childrens Hospital and the Melville Surgery Center.

I am satisfied with my first time consultation with Dr. Konstantin Tarashansky. I like his diagnosis of my problem and can't complain about his bedside manner. I will definitely come back for my next appointment. He is very friendly and spend time to explain about his diagnosis. My first time consultation was 6/23/15 Tuesday.

He seemed so into our visit asking so many questions and thinking about everything symptom I told him about. He had answers to every question I had, did not push pills but recommended a diet change and some good habit changes in my life. He was gentle when he scoped my throat didn't have any discomfort at all. I'll continue to use this Dr.!
