Great doctor and super friendly! Unfortunately my appointment through zoc doc never went through on their end, but they still squeezed me into the original time even though they already had another appointment scheduled then. Front office also helped me by checking if I had vision insurance and providing rebates for my contacts! Overall highly recommend!

I decided to switch providers when I moved and also after seeing them at our school district’s function one year. They’re an amazing group of ladies (My Back To School Bash Friends! Lol!) and Dr. Cooke is awesome as well! And out of all the optometrists I’ve had over the years, he’s the first that never tried to up sell me on anything! They made sure we were taken care of and followed safety guidelines. If you are searching for a great place for your vision needs, search no further! Thank you to Dr. Cooke and Staff!!

Dr. Cooke is a summa cum laude graduate of Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, and the University of Houston College of Optometry. He was awarded “Outstanding Student of the Year” in his third and fourth years of study at Houston.
Dr. Cooke grew up in East Texas, and moved to the Metroplex after completing his doctorate in 1994. From 1997 until 2004, he practiced in a primary care optometric clinic in Fort Worth. Dr. Cooke has extensive experience in diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of ocular diseases, as well as complicated contact lens fits and surgery co-management. He is licensed as both a therapeutic optometrist and an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist.
He is a former President of the Mansfield Noon Rotary Club (2009 – 2010), and enjoys reading, fishing, scuba diving, and volunteer work.
Dr. Cooke, his wife Ginger, and son Caleb live in Mansfield.

Dr Cooke what excellent with my son who is on the autism spectrum. He worked out a way to do the test that made my son feel comfortable. He also went the extra mile to make sure that we were getting the correct prescription since my son isn't always clear verbally. I appreciate that Dr Cooke treated my son as an ordinary child while keeping calm and having good bedside manners with him!

In the past we were always seen within 15 minutes of our scheduled appointment. Ever since the renovations took place it seems we have waited in excess of 30 minutes every visit. Scheduling more patients in a day to pay for the expansion maybe? I don't know. We think Dr. Cooke is wonderful (our whole family has been seeing him for over 10 years!) but our time is valuable. Might have to consider other options if this continues.
