1. The staff at Dr. Sandoval's office contacted me immediately after booking my appointment online to provide specific information about pricing for the visit and with details about possible additional exams.
2. My waiting time the day of the appointment was less than five minutes.
3. The staff members are very attentive and professional.
4. They have synchronized systems in place that allow the doctor to complete a Pap Smear and GYN exam in a few minutes.
5. Dr. Sandoval takes the time to listen to your concerns and also to explain you (in a language and tone you understand) available medical options.
6. Despite the fact that my visit was completed in less than 45 minutes, Dr. Sandoval did not rushed and showed a genuine interest and care.

Being from his native Guadalajara, Dr. Arturo Sandoval started his medical career with Honors. He then continued to specialize in Obstetrics and Gynecology, where he scored top 1% of the National residence admission test.
His endeavours followed in Houston, Texas, at Baylor College of Medicine in the Texas Medical Center, completing a 4 year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. His clinical experience includes working at MD Anderson Cancer Center, The Methodist Hospital, St. Luke’s Hospital, Texas Children’s Hospital, The Woman’s Hospital, and many of the hospitals that are part of the largest medical center in the world.
His training excelled at Baylor College of Medicine by obtaining the highest score on the US. national Obstetrics and Gynecology test (CREOG) of all the Ob/Gyn residents, and scoring top 1% in the United States. Dr. Sandoval was also awarded the Outstanding Medical Student Educator during his Residency training.
Dr Arturo Sandoval exceeded the normal 4 year residency program when taken into account his meager beginning in Guadalajara, to total 7 years of training in Obstetrics & Gynecology. He is also a Board Certified Physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Finishing Residency, he went into private practice and continued his career in infertility, laparoscopic surgery research, and currently training Doctors on laparoscopic surgery and minimally invasive procedures.
Dr. Arturo Sandoval is committed to deliver the highest level of care to his patients and has a passion for healthy living. He demonstrates this by pursuing a Masters Degree in Anti-Aging Medicine to enable him to bring the best and latest knowledge to his patients.

At first, I was very hesitant to go because of a review I saw but glad I did. Definitely felt very comfortable with the staff and doctor. Wait time was very reasonable and I especially like the ability to get late appointments since I work during normal business hours.

I honestly don't understand why so many good reviews. I felt like it was not even a legal practice. Couldn't even copay with debit or credit card "cash only" which I found very odd (still do). I went 3 times, they performed a urine test twice (in-office) and all tests were performed by third parts. I was never explained my test results. The visit was only to see a 2D sonogram (black and white that you don't even see anything) and at the end the doctor would not explain anything other than: its all ok. Visits lasted no longer that 15 min. and came out as clueless as before the visit. I had the chance to see another doctor for my other child and just then could see the professionalism of how a practice should be run. Organization wise, information I should have had medically and financially. All these are lacking in this practice in my opinion.
If you are a first time mom or this is your second, third, or fourth, do yourself a favor and find a doctor with a practice inside the hospital, or if you see anything odd at a outside practice do not stay. RUN!

He listened to my problems and made sure to keep me calm! He also answered all of my questions and even took extra exams just because I "google" diagnosed myself lol. So he is awesome in my book even though he was super busy because he was on call with the hospital I did not feel neglected it one bit. The only downside is because of my profession I am never in town and I never recieved my test results but I'm sure I am not dying becuase I'm sure they would have reached out to me.

He diagnosed me with an STD that I never had despite a blood test AND a culture test that both showed negative. However, I believed what he said and took the medication (and cried a lot and hated myself). Then, two weeks later during another visit, he had another doctor take a look at me and he basically said Dr. Sandoval's original diagnosis was way off. I don't know about you but I wouldn't want to be diagnosed with an STD that I don't even have. Anyway, 1 other gyno and 2 MD Anderson oncologists later, I was told I have nothing wrong with me.
