What Dr. Montgomery is doing with his office is the right direction of medicial care. They are very friendly and incorporate technology in running administration and medical records, which is a welcome change from the norm. He was nice and straightforward which left me feeling confident in his diagnosis. I look forward to being a long term patient of Dr. Montgomery.

L. Lee Montgomery, M.D., a native of Mississippi, received his B.A. in chemistry from Millsaps College. He graduated as Valedictorian from Millsaps, Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, receiving the President’s Medal.
He went on to earn his M.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, where he received the Consummate Physician Award by the prestigious Canby Robinson Society. He furthered his training as Intern and Resident in Family Medicine at Florida Hospital, then the largest hospital in the state.
Dr. Montgomery is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has been elected Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Montgomery is a member of the American Medical Association, the Louisiana State Medical Society, The American Academy of Family Physicians, and the Louisiana Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Montgomery is married to Phyllis, his wife since 1992. Together they have two children, Anabelle and William. He and his family enjoy attending church at First United Methodist Church in Baton Rouge and supporting the LSU Lab School.

Everything was fine until it came time to do my lab work two of the doctors staff were not very experienced in drawing blood after I was stuck 3 times they ask me to go to Labcorp to have done and they were sorry but could do it. I went to Labcorp and they were going to charge me $$$$ to do the lab work that the Doctor's office couldn't do. I walked out. I will find a Doctors office that is capable of doing a full service and not send me somewhere else to do what my insurance and me expect a doctors office to do.
