About Dr. Tolulope Famuyiro
I completed my medical education at Obafemi Awolowo University College of Health Sciences, earning a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery. I then completed a Residency in Family Medicine at the University of Texas, followed by a Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital.

There is a $50 late cancellation/no-show fee. A link will be sent from Simple Practice with paperwork via email. This must be completed ahead of your appointment. If the time no longer works, please work with us directly to reschedule Co-pay might apply.
Please note: If you have not met your deductible, you will be financially responsible for the visit. Costs range from $85 to $150 per visit, depending on the reason for the visit.
Billing details: (Co-pay estimate $0 - $120)
We bill your insurance provider as a primary care telemedicine service. Before your visit, we apply the $120 estimate to your out-of-pocket costs (e.g., copay or coinsurance).
After your insurer processes the claim, GeriPalMD will refund based on your insurer's determination. We cap your out-of-pocket cost for your consultation to $120 - even if your plan would otherwise require you to pay more (e.g., due to unmet deductible).
Once you book through GeriPalMD, you will receive a text message or email from the GeriPalMD Client Portal to complete your registration for the visit.

I’d prefer not to have the negative review published , especially since I was able to book and be seen the same day, and I appreciate the flexibility, particularly given that it was a late appointment. However, I did find parts of the experience somewhat unprofessional. During the visit, the provider appeared to be sitting on a couch watching TV, with another individual visible in the background, which raised potential privacy concerns. Additionally, there were moments like yawning and rubbing her eyes that made the interaction feel less sincere.
As a first-time user of Zocdoc, this initially made me question the legitimacy of the appointment. While the provider did not seem distracted and was ultimately very responsive and quick to prescribing what she believed to be the appropriate medication, I think conducting the visit from a more private, professional setting would have made for a more reassuring experience.

Bad bedside manners, wasn’t friendly. 18 minutes late to my tele health visit. I received a message stating she will be with me shortly after 13 minutes of me wanting on the call. No apology, just attitude as if she was doing me a favor. Didn’t go into details about much. I don’t recommend and I won’t be going back to her.

On the site it lists her as several things, GP, Sleep Specialist, Psych practitioner, etc.
But when we were talking she said she was just a GP (not "just" as it's a lot of work, but still).
One thing asked was my current medications. I filled out the intake forms, listing every single medication. If I wasn't on any of them currently I wouldn't have listed them. So that question was rather pointless.
I'm sure she's a great doctor for many people, but just not the right fit for me.

It’s was easy as long as you follow the steps and download the apps you need to communicate. I waited under 5 minutes for the doctor to come on and it was over in the 10 minutes. My care credit card wasn’t accepted but my debit card was. Not sure why my insurance card didn’t get charged for the visit. Other than that it was a breeze. My prescription was sent to the pharmacy, after the call.

Very disappointing. Left my son without medication when requesting unreasonable things. For example, sending lab orders at 9am and wanting it done by the afternoon appoint on a Friday. It was an overall horrible experience for my son and family. Unprofessional.

Dr Famuyiro is an absolute pleasure to work with. Professional but personable, gets to the issue but I didn't feel rushed; she let me set the pace - and the pace I prefer is in and out. She makes it super easy and I can't speak highly enough of her. Why can't all doctors appointments be like this?
