Dr. Lara Oboler completed fellowships in both Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. As a medical student at George Washington University in Washington, D.C., she developed a passion for treating patients with coronary artery disease. This passion took her to New York where she did a residency at Mt.Sinai Hospital and was mentored by the world renowned Dr. Valentin Fuster. After completing her training, she returned to D.C. and found herself in the midst of the prestigious Washington Hospital caring for women patients who required interventional and stenting procedures for their heart disease. Back in New York, she brings her talent, compassion, humor and expertise to Lenox Hill Hospital. She is an active member of the American Heart Association and American College of Cardiology.
