About Dr. David Wild
David Wild, MD, is an experienced and respected cardiologist. Dr. Wild is board-certified in cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, and internal medicine. He earned his medical degree from Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Dr. Wild completed his residency in internal medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, Montefiore Medical Center. He then completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Columbia University, Saint Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center, at which time he served as Chief Fellow.
Dr. Wild is part of Cardiovascular Specialists of North Jersey. He is a member of the Medical Society of New Jersey, the American College of Cardiology, and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Wild has a special interest in preventive cardiology and cardiac imaging and a passion for caring for his patients.

The doctor seemed strict with his office staff, which I think is a good thing. Too many times, you go in for an appointment, and staff are not friendly or helpful. But, I didn't feel this was the case with Dr. Wild's office. Appointment felt a little rushed, but the doctor was still willing to stay and answer all my questions.

I was unsure at first. Most doctors do not handle patients that are overweight as real people. They see the weight and that is it. Everything is the weight without listening to the patient’s concerns. Staff and doctor took the time to listen and check me and my concerns. I have my 2nd visit already set up and the office staff set up my out source testing

Maybe it was an off day for him but he seemed disinterested and minimized my concerns and explanations. The rheumatologist I saw the next day recommended I ask the cardiologist for an echo. Dr Wild refused to approve without even talking with me. I know my case might not be important for him, but it’s important to me. I felt like I was just another insurance client and taking up his time. Youth is up-to-date, but arrogance maybe the flip
side. Just felt like he didn’t want to be there.

Staff was very friendly and efficient. Dr Wild had a good bedside manner. Wait time was minimal. Worked with their Scheduling Coordinator for additional testing at the local hospital, everything was setup in minutes. Overall this was a very good first time visit!
