Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Larissa, “Dr. Lara”, a licensed acupuncturist, Doctor of Oriental Medicine, herbalist, and superfoods advocate. When you are my patient, I can help you address stress, pain, and chronic diseases by utilizing a variety of treatments, treating the root cause of your health issues, and empowering you with the tools needed to maintain your health. I know what it’s like to see a close family member suffer from a painful injury and then become trapped in opioid dependency….this eventually led to his untimely death. I am committed to helping people get rid of pain, cut their unhealthy dependencies, adopt better lifestyle habits and live an optimally by using natural medicine.
My attraction to natural medicine has been lifelong and beginning in the 3rd grade, I developed a strong appreciation for Japanese & Asian cultures. These two interests of mine merged when I enrolled in acupuncture school at East West College of Natural Medicine in Sarasota, Florida.

Dr. Lara is a wonderful practitioner. She’s patient, kind, understanding, and very knowledgeable in her craft.
She puts my mind and body at ease and knows exactly what I need. I recommend Dr. Lara to anyone looking for a reset and connection to their mind and body. Acupuncture helps with my emotional and physical alignments. I always feel amazing after. Calm, grounded, and more clear.
