Following graduation from the University of Virginia School of Medicine, he completed internship and residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Virginia Hospital. Dr. Smith is also a graduate of Washington and Lee University School of Law. He is a licensed attorney and an active member of the State Bar of Texas and the Dallas Bar Association. Dr. Smith is the Medical Examiner for Appomattox County. He has special interests in Sports Medicine, Preventive Medicine, and Geriatric Medicine.
