Dr. Cozzarelli is a brilliant eye doctor. She was very thorough explaining my new eye prescription for both my glasses and contacts prescription. In addition, she was very helpful, and carefully took the time to show me how to properly insert contacts, and provided me countless types of trial contacts to ensure I found the right matching ones.
These days, everyone has such busy schedules and Dr. Cozzarelli is unique, she allows you to contact her at any time via email/personal phone and is accessible, helpful and friendly. Fully recommend her!

I would never go here again. I waited for over an hour and the receptionist was apathetic, more like downright rude.

very disorganized and slow treatment.

The office was very small and cluttered. I waited over an hour to be seen even though there was nobody there and I had my infant son with me. The recommendation was that I get tested for glaucoma, even though I'm well under 40 and no other opthomologist has ever recommended this to me. But I'm going to get tested, because of course that has me paranoid. After this test I do not plan to go back.

Not great. Feels disorganized. Cramped and kind of messy patient room. I'm sure there are better kept facilities so I won't be going back. Doctor was ok.

I was unimpressed by the care and the politics that she imposed. I need a follow-up visit and I am planning to go to a different practice

She seems to be a fine enough Dr., but I wouldn't recommend her. The administrative staff in her office are pretty bad. I've visited both her and Dr. Acquista (who share an office and staff) over a period of three years, and every time there's some sort of administrative problem.
Most of the time the administrative bungling isn't a big deal. Like, for instance, this appointment was canceled the night before without even a phone call--not really a big deal, I just rescheduled.
But sometimes it can seriously become an issue. After one appointment, for example, they sent the wrong information to my insurance leading them to believe I wasn't covered. Normally it would be a simple matter to fix, but months after several phone calls and my insurance faxing them proof of coverage, I still receive an incorrect bill in the mail months later!
Mistakes happen, of course, but when speaking to staff in person expect, at best, bored expressions, and at worst, large amounts of unprofessionalism and rude attitudes from staff--for seemingly no reason.
Avoid this office at all costs.

My first appointment was never confirmed so I had to reschedule for the following week. I waited 40min for appointment, however she was really nice and pretty great with all of her suggestions. However, the contact lenses she calculated to be less for a whole year and I ended up paying well over that amount for 6 months. It was a joke, however I don't think it was her fault. Overall she was very pleasant and seemed to know her stuff.

I really do not know why she has such a high rating. The Dr was nice enough and her staff VERY helpful, but she didn't seem like she knew what she was doing. She was very scatter brained when giving me my exam and just overall confused as to my simple situation in which I needed an eye exam. Her answers to my questions contradicted statements she made in the past and just made no sense. I've been wearing glasses for 20 years and just needed a simple check up. Four visits later i finally got her to order me my contacts and when I got them this week I realized that she never changed my prescription and the ones she gave me aren't strong enough, despite giving me samples in a higher prescription. I can only imagine the damage to my eyes now that i've been wearing varying levels over the past few weeks. If you have serious concerns about your eyes you should go to someone more professional. If you need a general eye exam, you are better off just going to the opticals they set up inside places like walmart and target. Would not recommend this doctor.

I visited Dr Cozzarelli 3 times, and each time I waited between 30 and 45 minutes for my appointment after arriving promptly. She has no respect for other peoples time. Her bedside manner is cold, condescending and, at times, pushy. I could never shake the feeling that she was trying to sell me something I didn't need. I finally changed eye doctors and am much happier.

She was very informative and ran quite a few tests (relating to a concern of pre-glaucoma). It was a very nice office suite in a large midtown office building. The wait time was a bit long - and the dilation test required waiting 30 minutes for the drops to take effect. It would have helped to know that ahead of time but I was not in a rush. All in all a very professional and positive experience.

I was made to wait over an hour and then I was rushed through the appointment, the doctor not even pausing to ask why I was there. She just wanted to auto-pilot her way through the routine exam and send me out the door.

Dr Cozzarelli is consistently professional, friendly and competent. I've been her patient for over a decade and have nothing but praise for her. She has helped me avoid retinal issues and regularly checks for glaucoma and peripheral vision problems. Highly recommended!

I was dissapointed that they moved my time and said 2pm was busy even though it was available on zocdoc and that when I got there I had to wait 30 minutes

Dr. Cozzarelli seemed to be in a rush. I was annoyed that they asked to move my appointment from 1pm to 1:30, and then when I arrived I still waited 25 minutes before I was seen.

Dr Cozzarelli was one of the most thoughtful doctors I have ever been to. She helped me to understand the problem and had a great plan of action to treat it. I absolutely would recommend Dr. Cozzarelli to friends and colleagues.

Dr. Cozzarelli was professional and knowledgeable. She has a tendency to cut you off when you talk but overall a good experience. The wait time was reasonable (15mins). The staff was kind and the office clean but don't use their restroom. It is filthy!
