First I had the pleasant surprise of a parking spot out front... then I went inside and didn’t have to wait, went up stairs and basically the nurse was at the elevator door waiting for me when I got up there. Everyone was fast and efficient!

I am originally from Lexington, Kentucky and earned my medical degree from University of Louisville. I recently moved to Portland after falling in love with the city after frequent visits. I am looking forward to exploring the Portland area and meeting new people.
I chose to pursue a career in primary care, as I believe in focusing on preventing disease and discovering non-preventable illnesses early in the disease progression. I enjoy working with a large variety of patient populations and age groups. I also love working with underserved populations both locally and abroad. I have been given the opportunity to serve in short term clinics in both Central America and Africa and hope to continue to do so in the future.
Outside of seeing patients, my husband and I enjoy hiking with our dogs and visiting various bodies of water throughout the area. We also enjoy exploring local restaurants and breweries, as well as, spending time with family both locally and on Face-time.
The insurance update will be a full replacement of current insurances, not in addition to current insurances.

I would not return to Dr. Sage. She rushed through things and seemed unwilling to engage with me. She talked so fast that I did not get much from her, and she seemed disinterested in me as a patient. Every employee I encountered at the clinic was rude, rushed, and uncaring.

I do not feel like Dr. Sage listened to my concerns or had any interest in helping me find a solution to my health problems. She was extremely short and assumed she understood my situation without truly listening to my experiences. I would not recommend her to anyone and am incredibly disappointed with my appointment with Dr. Sage.

Dr. Sage is efficient and matter of fact, but didn't seem particularly interested in me or my health. She answered my questions, but didn't probe very deeply and didn't pursue any topics to get more information.

This office is very efficient. I like how they have a central check in desk on the first floor and then you are directed to the floor of the doctor you are seeing. I was seen right away. I did feel a tiny bit rushed out at the end of my appointment. Dr. MacDonald escorted me to the check out area but she seemed to be in a rush to leave me there. Overall am happy with my experience here and will be back to have some lab work done.
