Lauralea is board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has a unique background as a licensed registered nurse for ten years and a retired 20-year veteran firefighter/paramedic. In 2018, she graduated with honors from the University of Illinois in Chicago with a Masters of Science in Nursing and is licensed as a registered nurse and paramedic in the State of Illinois. Currently, she is a member of the Illinois Society of Advanced Nurse Practitioners, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and an associate member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine. Her commitment to excellence with care and compassion helps others achieve their optimal health and wellness goals. In addition to her work here at Balanced Flow Wellness, Lauralea, works with individuals struggling with opioid addiction in an outpatient setting. Lauralea enjoys spending her free time playing softball, golf, and with her family.
