Lauralea is board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has a unique background as a licensed registered nurse for ten years and a retired 20-year veteran firefighter/paramedic. In 2018, she graduated with honors from the University of Illinois in Chicago with a Masters of Science in Nursing and is licensed as a registered nurse and paramedic in the State of Illinois. Currently, she is a member of the Illinois Society of Advanced Nurse Practitioners, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and an associate member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
