She has a unique background as a licensed registered nurse for ten years and a retired 20-year veteran firefighter/paramedic. In 2018, she graduated with honors from the University of Illinois in Chicago with a Masters of Science in Nursing and is licensed as a registered nurse and paramedic in the State of Illinois.
