Dr. Lauren Gerber is a caring Child, Adolescent, and Adult licensed psychologist serving several communities via Telehealth. Dr. Gerber attended Northwestern University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in General Studies followed by Pace University, where she earned both her Master of Science in Education and her Doctor in Psychology degrees. She then completed her internship in clinical psychology at Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine in New York City. She is a member of the American Psychological Association.
For the last 25 years, Dr. Gerber worked in Chicago, Illinois both in the public school system and in her own private practice. In 2012, she relocated to Boca Raton, Florida where she continues to have a private practice. Dr. Gerber has taught at Lynn University in their psychology graduate school and also served as the Director of Clinical Services at The Slomin Family Center for Autism and Related Disabilities.
Dr. Gerber has published three books including: the 2016 Moonbeam Award winner—Autism and You, Kitchen Table Therapy, and, Does God Have an Email Address?
Dr. Gerber specializes in treating Autism Spectrum Disorders and has extensive experience treating ADHD, anxiety, depression and OCD. She has also developed expertise in the field of Child, Adolescent and Family psychology.
She is sensitive to the intersection between sociodemographic factors and mental health and welcomes patients from diverse backgrounds.
Dr. Gerber takes a comprehensive approach to consultation that increases diagnosis accuracy and provides treatment plans individualized to each patient. Her practice is not in-network for any insurance plans although she does provide patients with a Superbil

Our visit was exceptional. Dr. Gerber was very warm and personable. She made us feel comfortable right away, and it was clear that she was knowledgeable and sensitive to our personal needs. Always has a thoughtful answer to any question we may have and her session always result in progress for us.
