Lauren is thrilled to be joining the amazing group of nurse midwives at Saint Joseph Hospital. She moved to Denver four years ago from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Lauren completed her nursing degree at Michigan State University, and her Master’s in Midwifery at the University of Michigan. She has been helping deliver babies for 5 years and feels it really is the perfect career for her. Lauren’s first job in Denver was at Saint Joseph Hospital as a Labor and Delivery nurse. She has worked at Swedish Medical Center for the last 3 years and learned a lot in a small practice, but she felt it was time to come back to St. Joe's - a place she knew and loved. In her free time you can find Lauren hiking, snowboarding, practicing yoga, at concerts, and playing with her dog. “I can’t wait to get to know you all and help you through this life changing experience.”
