I absolutely loved my appointment with Dr. Krishnan. She was incredibly attentive which made me feel heard, like she was really trying to understand the history of my skin. She was also incredibly informative, educating me on my skin conditions and how we would approach treatment for each. She even offered some natural remedies which was super amazing. Loved my appointment and so excited to have found an awesome dermatologist in SF.

Dr Krishnan was very professional. I appreciated the fact that she had a relaxed disposition, yet worked fast and did not cut me short with her time. Most dermatologists I've seen talk more than they work and are slow as molasses. I will definitely see Dr Krishnan again.

Dr. Lavanya Krishnan was warm and personable, friendly and helpful, patient and kind in her bedside manner. She is open-minded when it comes to looking at treatments (for rosacea) and so offers organic, natural alternatives to antibiotics and pharmaceuticals when appropriate.
She took her time with me, explained technical matters clearly, and provided a protocol that fit my skin as well as my lifestyle.
I really lucked out making a visit with her.

Dr Krishnan is very approachable and professional. She is very personable, so you're at ease asking any questions, and she tells you exactly what to expect with any treatment, how long it will take to work, when to call if it's not working. I am typically in and out within 20minutes. She also write comprehensive instructions for any products she recommends-whether they are OTC or Rx. I highly recommend her to any patient.

Dr. Krishnan is a great dermatologist. I came in for a cosmetic procedure and she took the time to discuss my concerns. She offered excellent advice and we agreed on the treatment. What I liked best was that she discussed all my options thoroughly and ensured I was comfortable with everything.

My visit with Dr. Krishnan was stellar. I scheduled a consultation regarding 3 dermatological issues. As Dr. Krishnan is new to the practice, I was looking for credibility and I found it! She addressed each issue in a knowledgable, efficient, and thorough manner. She answered my questions with answers based on research, empirical experience, and thoughtful reasoning. Further, she described the three different procedures she was recommending in detail, and gave specific reasons as to why she was recommending those particular treatments. This gave me the information I needed, and the confidence in her to move forward with a treatment to address one of my issues right then and there. When treating me, Dr. Krishnan did the procedure herself, and she was very considerate about checking in with me to ensure I was as comfortable as possible with the mildly painful treatment. Indeed, prior to the procedure she asked me if I had any concerns before we started the treatment. I let her know I have naturally low blood pressure, and it would be likely that after the procedure I would feel a little woozy. She asked me what usually helps when I feel that way, and, even though I didn't want to make a fuss about it, I did say salty things or sweets and water usually make me feel better. Well, while I was waiting for the first part of the treatment to take effect, Dr. Krishnan had her assistant bring me some potato chips, lollipops, and a bottle of water. Quite nice and definitely helpful. I have gone ahead and scheduled appointments for treatments to address the two other dermatological issues, and am looking forward to having Dr. Krishnan as my aesthetic dermatologist.
