Dr. Glenn practices in the traditional psychiatric model with a. combination of medication management and psychotherapy techniques. She also understands the importance of a healthy lifestyle and tries to work with patients to improve behaviors that could be contributing to their current struggles. Dr. Glenn’s goal with every patient is to meet the patient where they are, get a good understanding of their concerns, and work together to determine the best treatment plan and obtain the best outcomes.
Dr. Glenn obtained her undergraduate degree at Hampton University and later received her medical degree from Boston University. She completed her general psychiatry residency at Loyola University.
While in medical school, Dr. Glenn's special interests include mental health, diet, and nutrition. Those interests continued while completing psychiatry residency at Loyola University. From this training, she has experience in treating a wide range of adult mental health issues with traditional treatment modalities and attempts a holistic focus on physical, financial, occupational, intellectual, environmental, social, and spiritual health.

Waited 2 weeks for an appointment to be told that it was a screening. Turns out I was too old for her patient demographic ( Im 64, and still working) Referred to someone else with another 3 week wait. unsure if that would also be another screening visit. Please don't waste my time!!

My experience with talkiarty has been very positive. My Dr. is a true professional whos' caring, kind, and considerate to my needs. I'm confident in the Dr. G. decision because she LISTENS, EXAMINES, and DISSECT my words. Im very comfortable in talking my problem. I trust her decision because I feel a sense of compassion from her. I not only feel progress mentally and physically, but also in organizing life priorities. I look forward to my visits because my Dr. helps me see the better me and to realize there's so much more in life waiting..after the metamorphosis takes place.

Dr. Glenn is likely a good psychiatrist by trade, however I found her bedside manner and empathy skills to be lacking. Dr. Glenn was very clinical and matter of fact in her questioning & note taking but lacked a bit of general compassion. She noted that neither she nor anyone at the practice would be able to assist me with general anxiety/depression, with very vague reasoning. I respect her/their decision to treat whomever they would like, but it was disheartening to be provided with little reasoning why.

She is friendly and pretty easy to talk to. However I did feel like she didn’t know enough information about all the medication topics. I had to offer suggestions of medications myself and then she offered those medications as options.

Clinic staff seemed overwhelmed and disorganized. Nearly every other patient in the waiting room, myself included, was told "I can't find your records. Oh wait, here they are!" which does not inspire confidence. Dr. Glenn was reading my intake form during our appointment which frustrated me. If I have to attend a meeting, I read the memo ahead of time, not while I'm in there. She asked me several questions that were answered on my intake sheet, used clinical terms I was not familiar with and herself was not familiar with other mainstream methods of treatment I have tried. Clinic staff interrupted my appointment and ran away giggling when they saw I was still in the doctor's office. Dr. Glenn's treatment plan seemed to be developed in the last 5 minutes of our appointment, as an afterthought. I raised my concerns with her and she dismissed them, telling me to "just try it." Clarity Clinic seems overbooked, overworked, underprepared.
