I'm a huge advocate for shared decision-making with an emphasis on preventative medicine. I love seeing my patients thrive while living a healthy lifestyle. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? As a primary care provider, my focus is on both my patient's physical and behavioral health needs, as treating the patient as a whole leads to the best outcomes. Every patient deserves to be heard and given the opportunity to actively participate in their treatment plans. I believe patient education and keeping up to date with evidence-based medicine is essential to providing the highest quality of care to my patients. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? I've been practicing as a Physician Assistant for 11 years, spending the majority of my career in Hospital/Internal Medicine while also specializing in Interventional Spine and Ortho. I have provided care in hospital, clinic, and telemedicine settings. In my spare time, I love traveling and exploring new places with my husband and two small children. The beach is my happy place.
