She is a board-certified Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Family Medicine. Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Holy Family University in 2008. She then completed her Master of Science in Nursing as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner at Rowan University in 2019. Before joining Advocare Moorestown Family Practice, Jennifer worked for 12 years as a Registered Nurse at Virtua Marlton Hospital in Marlton, NJ. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her son, dog, and cat.

Jennifer was one of the first doctors who ever made me feel heard. She didn’t rush me, she listened to my concerns, was very thorough, and I even have a follow up with her sooner than next year! One appointment in and I can already tell she is fantastic.

I cannot recommend Dr. Tiernan-Palermo highly enough. She is kind, patient, caring and empathetic. She leaves judgement at the door and her personable demeanor is balanced with the right amount of stern.
I’ve actually apologized on numerous occasions for forgetting she’s my PCP and not my therapist, but of course, she swats it away good-naturedly. I trust her with my wellbeing, and feel highly supported in my health journey.

Another flawless experience with Moorestown Family Practice. My appointment was with Jennifer Tiernan-Palermo for an URI; she is not my normal PCP at this group. We had a phone appointment, which probably makes it more difficult for the medical provider. Jennifer was great…made me feel totally at ease and asked all the right questions. Because of meds that I currently take, there are serious interactions that need to be considered, and Jennifer was totally cognizant of that. She prescribed both over-the-counter and prescription remedies, which is impressive.
I would highly recommend Jennifer and think this entire medical practice is one of the best.

Wow 31 years I went without a doctor who actually listened to me. I’m SO glad I found Jennifer. She took my concerns seriously, listened to what I had to say and actually ordered the bloodwork I was curious about. It’s so so hard, especially as a woman, for providers to take you seriously when you look fine on the outside. This is the first time in my life I actually felt listened to and understood. I struggle with finding providers that take the time to really listen to my health history and take my concerns seriously. Dr. Teirnan-Palermo put all those fears to rest. She listened to my concerns, asked questions, explained medical jargon, and really made me feel like she cared. No question felt too small or issue too big. She was fantastic! The office staff was also wonderful. They never made me feel unimportant or like they didn't have time for me. When I call, they always pick up and are very friendly and helpful. I was nervous to go to a PCP as I haven't had luck in the past, but Dr. Teirnan-Palermo made me feel like we were teammates in this health-game of life. I'd recommend her 10 out of 10 times!

This was my first time back to a doctors office since pre Covid. I was dreading going back to be honest, not for any particular reason. In the past doctors have rushed me through appointments, made me feel stupid and barely spoke with me about anything outside of my specific concern on that day. Jennifer first and foremost made me feel so comfortable at my first appointment and answered all of the questions I had thoroughly. I honestly felt this was the first time in my adult life that I’ve felt my provider truly cared about what I was saying and not just my routine reason for coming in but my overall health and well being. I never write reviews but I left the office so happy because I felt that I had finally found a provider I wanted to continue to make the trip to see.
