Dr. Dockery provides excellent care. I was nervous about switching psychiatrists (my last one relocated, and before that I had had negative experiences with other providers), but my worries were all for nothing. He was very thorough and an excellent listener. I will definitely be coming back!

Dr. Dockery is very personable and makes it clear that he will give you the best treatment for your needs. He is a great psychiatrist and is very quick at communication if you come across any questions at times other than the scheduled appointment time!! Have only nothing but good things to say!

Dr. Dockery received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 2014. He then moved to Nashville, TN to complete his general psychiatry residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he served as chief resident of inpatient services. He expects to complete addiction psychiatry fellowship in spring 2023.
Dr. Dockery has experience treating most general adult psychiatry complaints, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and substance use disorders. He has particular focus in the treatment of young adults, and co-occurring mood disorders and substance use disorders.

This was my first time talking with Dr. Dockery. He took his time and listened to me. I wasn’t rushed like I have been in the past. He was a clear communicator. For the first time I’m actually looking forward to my follow up!
