Dr. Lee Herman is a board certified internist who has been in private practice in the Johns Creek area for over 20 years. A graduate of University of Georgia in Athens, Dr. Herman earned a medical degree from Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, and completed his residency at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC.He founded Johns Creek Primary Care in 2001, which has become a 4 provider Internal Medicine practice. In addition to seeing patients full-time, Dr. Herman has been a principle investigator in over 60 clinical trials, and a preceptor for many nurse practitioner and medical students.As an active member in his community, he co-founded Johns Creek Healthcare Association in 2006, which is comprised of over 100 members of various local healthcare businesses. He has served multiple hospital appointments including Secretary of Staff, and is currently the Ethics Committee Chairman at Emory Johns Creek Hospital. As an active Fellow in the American College of Physicians, he serves on the Georgia Chapter Health and Public Policies Committee. Dr. Herman was recognized in Atlanta Magazine as being a Top Doctor in his field of Internal Medicine in 2016 and 2017. Dr. Herman was involved in early developments of the Emory Healthcare Network when he joined the Emory CIN Steering Committee in July, 2011. He currently serves as the Emory Johns Creek Local Healthcare Network Manager and as an Emory Healthcare Network Board Member overseeing more than 2,000 physicians.If Dr. Herman does not have an appointment available to see you at your requested time, you may be offered an appointment with one of our nurse practitioners that he supervises. Pamela Watson, APRN and Emily Adams, APRN provide excellent care for our patients.
