I just moved to the area and am looking for a new primary care physician. Unfortunately, Dr. Jurkowski is not accepting new patients, but he was able to see me on an urgent care basis to take care of immediate medical concerns. He also recommended a practice for future care. I'm very happy with my visit.

Doctor and nurse were great! Front desk gal was not very nice to deal with and was very short. There was a wait of about 30-45 min but I'm sure it was because it was the day after Christmas.

Given I have an extensive medical history, our appointment took quite a while, but he made sure to took his time to investigate my current issue and to make sure I'm getting the right treatment with different specialists. I'm very picky with my doctors, but this one is A-OK!

Dr. Jurkowski treated my 12-year old son for an ear injury/infection. He made my son comfortable and was very personable. He also did an excellent job of explaining to my son exactly what was going on with his ear.
It's really hard to find Drs with good personalities who seem to really care and Dr. Jurkowski was great.

I come from a family of doctors and after visiting this doctor I wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone. The worst! Rude, careless, not professional, and appointment was rushed. He was not friendly but his staff were. I had to make another appointment to be seen a week later with another doctor because I had bronchitis and this doctor didn't provide any treatment. Very ignorant!

When the doctor and I had a sit down about my results he failed to tell me about key very important info on my forms. I decided to check over my paperwork myself and saw some alerting things he did not discuss with me at all. I felt very rushed like he just wanted me in and out not really caring about my well being.

I wasn't impressed. He didn't really listen to what I had to say and wrote off what I was saying as "worries" when it is an ongoing problem. Had to see another doctor to get proper treatment instead of getting "written off".

Dr. Jurkowski, along with his staff, were all kind... courteous... and above all... professional. I was very pleased with the level of service received. All questions were answered and all concerns were addressed. The location was convenient and parking was not a problem.

I've been to several doctors in the San Diego County and noone beats Dr. Jurkowski. He is so easy to talk to and you can tell he cares about his patients. My only thing is that he is not the only doctor at this office and sometimes he's not the doctor you end up seeing. I give them a call before setting the appointment on ZocDoc to confirm he'd be my doctor for the visit.

We moved to San Diego for just a short amount of time and I wantred a doctor who would take me on as my primary care physician and who listened well. I found both in Dr. Jurkowski. Both my husband and I were well cared for.

Dr. Jurkowski was excellent, as was the nurse on duty. I felt so sick and they were able to quickly figure out what was wrong with me. I'm already feeling better after one dose of medicine. They were also very nice to my kids who had to come with me, and just friendly people overall. I'm so happy this office is right in my neighborhood.

I have not been to the doctor in a while. So I found him mainly because he accepts tricare and close to my work. He was really nice. He took a look at what I had wrong and quickly gave me a solution. The front staff are efficient and nice. I really felt like he listened to me and cared. He was super gentle with handling my bruised legs. I would highly recommended him.

I wasn't too impressed . He turned his back to me when asking me questions and he didn't ever smile or laugh. Felt like he was going rough he motions w no passion at all. I won't go back to him. His nurse assistant also was not very friendly.

The doctor and his staff were very personable and seemed thorough, although the nurse simply asked for my height and weight instead of taking the measurements, and the doctor spent a lot of time in conversation instead of going over my medical history in any detail. This may have been because I only indicated on my form that I was there for a medication refill - but I did indicate to the desk clerk, the nurse and the doctor individually that I was new to San Diego and looking for a new doctor.
