The wait time was over an hour and a half even though I had an appointment. The medical student who took my information and vitals was inexperienced and sounded very unsure of herself. When the doctor finally came to see me his bedside manner was horrendous. He started to have a conversation on the phone right in the room with me, arguing loudly in Russian with what sounded like was perhaps his wife? Then without any testing (no rapid influenza test), he said he GUESSES I have the flu. Then another nurse came in the room to do a strep test because I had asked for it (!), and she got on her phone too, having a personal conversation while I was in the room. Very unprofessional. The test showed I don't have a bacterial infection but I was still sent away with a prescription for antibiotics, which was very confusing and when I asked the doctor about it he gave me a roundabout answer. I ended up not even taking the antibiotics because I didn't want my body to get weaker. My flu went away on its own with time and rest.

Dr Tafler is very knowledgeable. He takes his time with his patients and listen to their concerns. He took a good 30 minutes trying to find the reasons for my pain that my regular dr wasn’t able to discover. He found it and treated it. Now just need some follow ups with him.

It’s not a fancy doctor’s office.
In a way that’s good I guess cause I want proper care and treatment and don’t want to end up paying huge fees to cover design costs.
The front desk administrators were pleasant and communicative.
I was greeted by an young intern who was friendly and immediately put me at ease.
Dr. Tafler was great- straight to the matter ( of course, he has other patients ) but I never felt rushed or that he didn’t want to be there.
He seemed very experienced and not into frills- which is fine with me.
He was friendly.

I was hesitant to go to a new PCP, but I was extremely sick and was able to make a last minute appt with Dr. Tafler. He was very professional, kind, and warm. He has a great presence, and saw me relatively quickly. Staff was nice. Good experience, and I will return again. Thanks Dr. Tafler!!
