More about Dr. Leopold Yin, MD
Leopold K. Yin, M.D. attended Harvard University and graduated cum laude in Economics. While at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, he graduated summa cum laude and was a junior inductee into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at The Ohio State University and went on to the world-renowned Vanderbilt Voice Center at Vanderbilt University for his fellowship in Laryngology and Care of the Professional Voice. He is the only fellowship-trained laryngologist/voice-specialist in Phoenix.
Before moving to Arizona, Dr. Yin was in practice in Columbus, Ohio. He was a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at The Ohio State University and actively participated in resident training. He also had a busy ENT practice and was an active staff member of many local hospitals, including Nationwide Columbus Children’s Hospital.
Upon moving to Arizona in 2007, Dr. Yin established a collaboration with the Arizona State University Department of Speech and Hearing Science and is a member of their Adjunct Faculty. As part of this program, ASU faculty and students participate in clinical activities at his office under his supervision. He joined Valley ENT in May of 2009.
Dr. Yin is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He treats the full spectrum of head and neck illnesses and enjoys treating patients of all ages. His special interests include voice disorders, pediatric ENT, and sinus disease.
In his free time, Dr. Yin enjoys spending time with his wife and son and rooting for the Buckeyes!
