Dr. Leslie Baumann is an internationally renowned board-certified dermatologist, bestselling writer, media personality, sought-after lecturer and CEO of Baumann Cosmetic Dermatology in Miami, Florida. Dr. Baumann founded the Cosmetic Dermatology Center at the University of Miami in 1997, where she also served as a professor of dermatology. She is the author of Cosmetic Dermatology: Principles and Practice (McGraw Hill), which has been translated into 14 languages and become the most widely used cosmetic dermatology textbook around the world, and her second textbook, Cosmeceuticals and Cosmetic Ingredients (McGraw Hill), was released in November 2014. Dr. Baumann also authors a twice-monthly column for The Miami Herald and regularly contributes to magazines, medical journals and other publications worldwide. She has also appeared on Good Morning America, CNN and the PBS special, Skin Type Solutions with Dr. Leslie Baumann. Dr. Baumann's research has been instrumental in the FDA approval of Kybella, Botox, Dysport, Voluma, Sculptra, Juvéderm, Bellafill, Tri-Luma and other groundbreaking drugs and treatments. She is a Fellow of the prestigious American Dermatological Association, a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. Most recently, Dr. Baumann developed the Skin Type Solutions Franchise System to provide dermatologists with the tools necessary to accurately assess and patient’s skin type and prescribe a customized skincare regimen.
