My passion for the healthcare field started after losing my mom to colon/ovarian cancer in 2000. During that time period, my nursing status has grown from a License Practical Nurse to a Registered Nurse to now a Nurse Practitioner. I have been in the nursing field for 26 years. I started my Nurse Practitioner career working as a Family Nurse Practitioner part-time in 2018, in which I cared for the entire family. I provided care for patients with hypertension, diabetes, back pain, GI conditions, and common illnesses. I also prescribed necessary medical treatments. I then went on to specialize as a Vascular Surgical Nurse Practitioner in 2019, where I managed the care of men's and women's vascular conditions that included varicose veins, blood clots, PAD, CVI, and men's ED along with many other circulation problems. I interpreted ultrasound studies, MRIs, and X-rays.
I graduated from Walden University receiving my Master's Degree in Family Nurse Practitioner. My goal is to take care of people and make them feel better by improving their overall health. I also desire to create long-lasting relationships with my patients.
I currently provide care for women's health including annual pap smears, hormonal replacement therapy, family health management, health education, and gastroenterology therapy.
