Medhattan Immediate Medical Care is a new urgent care facility where you can be seen 365 days/year by a top-notch Board Certified Emergency Room Physician. Leslie is Medhattan’s founder. She is a cum laude graduate of Harvard, a New Yorker and a mom of two. “Here in New York where one can obtain ‘boutique anything,’ there is no viable option for people to obtain immediate medical care that exceeds expectations of quality and service. That’s why we created Medhattan.”
At Medhattan we do Xrays and labs on site, as well as casting, suturing, IV fluids. We are a great place to come if you can't get a same day appointment with your doctor or have a non life-threatening emergency. We treat kids and adults. "Medhattan offers a chance to see NYC's best ER doctors without having to go to the ER. We are affordable and convenient and our patients are finding that the experience exceeds their expectations in every way", says founder Leslie Miller MD.
After attending Harvard, Leslie obtained her MD degree and completed an Emergency Medicine Residency at Albert Einstein School of Medicine / Jacobi Medical Center. She has held several prestigious administrative posts in the New York Metropolitan area including Medical Director of the Emergency Department of the Allen Hospital (a New York-Presbyterian Hospital affiliate in Inwood), Vice Chairman and Medical Director of the Emergency Department at Newark Beth Israel, and Assistant Medical Director of the Emergency Department at St Luke’s Hospital.
She has published scholarly articles on the topics of Emergency Cardiology and Cervical Spine Trauma. She was also the recipient of a Patient Satisfaction Leadership Award at New York Presbyterian Hospital.
