URGENT CARE PROVIDER

Medhattan Immediate Medical Care is a new urgent care facility where you can be seen 365 days/year by a top-notch Board Certified Emergency Room Physician. Leslie is Medhattan’s founder. She is a cum laude graduate of Harvard, a New Yorker and a mom of two. “Here in New York where one can obtain ‘boutique anything,’ there is no viable option for people to obtain immediate medical care that exceeds expectations of quality and service. That’s why we created Medhattan.”

At Medhattan we do Xrays and labs on site, as well as casting, suturing, IV fluids. We are a great place to come if you can't get a same day appointment with your doctor or have a non life-threatening emergency. We treat kids and adults. "Medhattan offers a chance to see NYC's best ER doctors without having to go to the ER. We are affordable and convenient and our patients are finding that the experience exceeds their expectations in every way", says founder Leslie Miller MD.

After attending Harvard, Leslie obtained her MD degree and completed an Emergency Medicine Residency at Albert Einstein School of Medicine / Jacobi Medical Center. She has held several prestigious administrative posts in the New York Metropolitan area including Medical Director of the Emergency Department of the Allen Hospital (a New York-Presbyterian Hospital affiliate in Inwood), Vice Chairman and Medical Director of the Emergency Department at Newark Beth Israel, and Assistant Medical Director of the Emergency Department at St Luke’s Hospital.

She has published scholarly articles on the topics of Emergency Cardiology and Cervical Spine Trauma. She was also the recipient of a Patient Satisfaction Leadership Award at New York Presbyterian Hospital.

I went for a sore throat and was given a rapid strep test and was positive. I was in and out of the office within an hour and DR Leslie Miller gave me my first dose of Penicillin right in the office and called the prescription into my local pharmacy. The visit was quick and painless, just make sure you make an appointment as this office can get busy.

Dr. Miller was great. I had to wait a long time however, even though there wasn't anyone ahead of me. I was on lunch and got back to work a few minutes late but the visit was great and the Dr. was very very nice. I really liked her and will definitely go back there.

Went for an x-ray and evaluation for a possible bone fracture. Really prompt and thorough care by Dr Miller and her staff. Happy to find such a facility in my neighborhood. Highly recommend.

Having used other walk-in care facilities in NYC, my expectations were far exceeded by my experience with Dr. Miller and the staff. Everyone was friendly, prompt, and courteous, and Dr. Miller was quite conversational and informative. Would go again.

Leslie was very informative in her explanation of my treatment. I did not feel rushed and she was happy to answer all of my questions. Certainly not like a normal urgent care. Very polite and friendly staff.

She's fantastic, but you wait quite a long time. But if you need to be seen at urgent care I guess that is just part of the deal. The Tech who takes your vitals is super great.

No one likes to go to the doctor. It means something is wrong. It means sitting in a waiting room surrounded by sick people and reading old magazines. But I was in pain and I had to go. And it was great! I made appointment online and got seen the same day. After a very short wait in the waiting room I was in the exam room. The doctor was concerned about my well being and wise and professional. I was quickly and accurately diagnosed and a prescription phoned into my pharmacy. 10/10 would go again (although I hope I don't have to!)

She was very friendly, attentive and helpful. She listened carefully to everything I had to say and gave me useful advice and medications. She also gave me recommendations and referrals for other doctors. I would definitely see her again! The other nurse was super nice as well. The receptionist was efficient but not as friendly.

Dr. Miller is the best! She is very caring, which is hard to come by when looking for a doctor in NYC. I've been coming to Medhattan on and off for the past few years and I just love this place. They always have appointments available and they are very professional.

I am visiting from out of town for a work project. I was able to make an appointment via the website in the morning for later the same morning. I was seen as soon as my paperwork was filled out upon arrival. Insurance info was accepted, prescription called in to the closest pharmacy- office staff and the Doctor were great.

Overall the office is clean and nice, however, the wait time is ridiculous and no one really seems to be too concerned at the fact that patients are left waiting for over an hour. The only saving grace was Sabrina the technician who ended up looking after me. She was so lovely and attentive that it almost made me forget that I was in the office waiting for an hour.

Though I made an appointment and was on time for it, I was seen almost an hour past my appointment time. Despite this, my experience was great! Very professional, facility is very clean and the staff were friendly as well. They apologized for the delay as the doctor was tied up, no worries here really - it happens. If you ever need urgent care in the financial district area, I recommend you try there.

Dr. Miller was excellent, but the staff were not. The office didn't call me with my test results as expected, and when I called a day later was told, pretty rudely, to "call back later - we're too busy to check the system."

Nice doctor. Office itself was not great, bed didn't even have cover on it, and I waited over an hour to be seen even with an appointment.

Dr. Miller and her staff were both friendly and welcoming. Dr. Miller went beyond just a standard procedure. Instead of just diagnosing and prescribing, she took the time to explain my symptoms and treatment, and even asked me about myself in between. I would recommend Dr. Miller and her team to anyone.

Having made an appointment and arrived ten minutes early, I was kept waiting for over an hour. When the doctor finally came in to see me, he said that the receptionist hadn't even told him I was there. At least 5 walk-in patients without appointments were seen before I was and no one even apologized.

It was convenient to get a last minute appointment with Dr. Miller as I couldn't find any place to take me sooner. Checking in was easy, she seemed extremely knowledgeable, was quite friendly, and made sure to make me feel comfortable and informed on everything throughout the visit. The only drawback was the wait time, she was the only doctor there while I was there, however I was there later than normal offices are open to anyway.
