My family and I just moved to Ossining and recently got very sick. I wasn’t sure what it was, but I had heard from my son who goes to the school based health center, about Open Door. I called in the morning and was able to get seen that same day. It turned out, I had strep throat and was able to get a prescription that same day. It’s a great place and I will definitely go back to see Dr. Plachta.

Appointments sometimes make me anxious, but Dr. Plachta made everything so effortless and easy for me. After just a few visits, I feel so on top of my health.

I started coming here after a recommendation from my sister and I really understand why she loves this place so much. The staff is very professional, approachable and knowledgeable. Dr. Plachta really took their time with the visit and thoroughly explained what I needed to know. Looking forward to my next visits!

I came in for what I considered to be a “one-time, emergency” visit at first, but I liked Dr. X’s bedside manner so much and the courteousness of the staff that I’ve made him my PCP. It was a great decision as I haven’t been so in tune and aware of my health in the past like I am now.

Was not in the best shape and it was really affecting my health. Dr. P recommended Open Door’s wellness program. In 2 years it changed my life. I feel so much better. The doctor and staff care and work really closely with me to find the best plan.
