My experience in Dr Lu’s office (East Sunrise Medical) was very terrible.
They charged co-pay every time even though you just called them by phone and they suggested you to find specialist doctor. They did nothing just told they can not help and they still asked me to pay.

Dr. Lu is lovely I am glad I picked her as my pcp. She makes sure that she addresses your concerns and is you can feel her compassion and genuine interest to help her patients. It’s a small office but they have an effective method to move quickly through the patients and considering that I still didn’t feel rushed when I was in the room with Dr. Lu.

My experience in Dr Lu's office was very troubling. I waited about 1 hour and 45 minutes in her very crowded, warm office before I was seen I arrived on time for my appointment and there is no reason for the wait. The entire office/floor set up was really odd. The bathroom was very disorderly, and the light flickered for a good minute before it turned on. But most upsetting of all was the language barrier between myself and Dr. Lu. The ability to communicate freely and comfortably and clearly with a doctor is most important for me, and unfortunately this simply was not possible.

Overall staff was professional and efficient. Dr. Lu was very friendly and took the time to get to know me as I was a new patient. A small mixup while I was waiting to be called in, adding an extra 20mins to my visit, but the staff apologized.

She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She made me feel comfortable. She kept saying "we will do this together, don't worry" At times it was a little hard to understand her due to her accent but she had no problem repeating herself. I highly recommend her.

Looking for a new primary care doctor, I found Dr. Lu from her reviews on Zoc Doc and they were very accurate. She is friendly, has a lovely bedside manner and is thorough. Her staff is also very nice and helpful. I found her approach to my health and well being both honest and intelligent.
This office primarily serves the Chinese population surrounding the office, all the staff I encountered were native Chinese speakers. There were a couple times where communication was a little difficult, but we figured it out. I thought they were all competent and did their job well.
I highly recommend this office.

I went to her because I saw her ratings were great, but when I went there, I got a completely different experience. The staff was rude when and I was not greeted until I went to the desk myself. Then, when the doctor came to greet me, she asked if she could take someone else after she acknowledged that the patient came after me and had an appointment that was scheduled AFTER mine. I sick at the time so I did not feel like going back and forth with the doctor. When she finally examined me, she told me that the nurse did not give her my information that I filled out and asked me my medical history all over again. You can imagine that I was a bit upset because I was already sick and filled out the information. Shortly after that, I had to take a breathing test with the nurse and not only did she not know what she was doing, but I had to help read the instructions with her and she didn't know how to operate the system that we were using. The appointment was an overall disappointment and I will not be going back ever again, nor will I recommend her to anyone.

I only waited a few minutes to be seen. The entire office staff was very nice and friendly. This was my first time seeing Dr. Lu, so I was a bit nervous. From the moment I met with her, she had a big smile on her face and genuine niceness in her tone and attitude. She was very personable while taking my medical history and listened to everything I had to say when she asked me why I was there. She took all my symptoms I told her about seriously and let me know about every test she planned on doing. During the physical exam, she was very thorough and explained everything she was doing. When she found something abnormal, she assured me to not worry and explained what I should do next and was so nice and comforting. She repeatedly told me that she is being thorough and to not worry until I have to and that it probably isn't anything to worry about. I'm glad that even the slightest thing that seems "off" to her she cares enough about her patients to be thorough about. I will be following up and continuing my care with her. Just from my first impression, I believe she is an excellent doctor who really cares about her patients and what she does, takes the time to listen and explain things, is very thorough and won't miss anything, and has excellent bedside manner and can make a person with high anxiety such as myself feel at ease. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a new PCP!

Very thorough and attentive, she listened to all my worries and issues and took active steps to make me feel like I was taken care of. The only thing is where as most doctors don't need to see you again if there are no issues with blood tests, she needs you to come in and reviews them with you, which is amazing but time consuming.

I had a great, above average experience with Dr. Li Lu. She is very patient and thorough with listening and understanding your concerns. She explained the causes and clearly suggested possible treatment options and we made decisions together . She was also very real about how the medical infrastructure works ( insurance, treatments, etc) unlike other doctors that had me running around from place to place seemingly just trying to get done with the visit and hand me off to someone else. She actually treated me like a person and I observed similar interactions with her other patients.
She and her staff went above and beyond to assure my insurance approved my testing and were all very accommodating and understanding whether the office had multiple patients or just me.

Dr. Li Lu is the best primary care doctor I've ever seen. What sets her apart from other doctors is her genuine interest in her patients' well-being. She didn't rush my appointment at all, and I got the impression that taking her time with patients is more important to her than making a lot of money off of her appointments. She is a good doctor and a good person.
