Very attentive . Very thorough with visit and fully discussed my concerns . Staff in front were very nice . The wait was a little long .
Dr. Barrah is a great guy. Really takes his time with you and explains what's going on medically very succinctly.
Great just a long wait.
Great, they addressed what I came there for.
Dr. Barrah was extremely personable and friendly, I feel like I finally found a long-term primary care physician!
Dr. Barrah and his staff are very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Although it can take a little while to get into the doctor's office, I feel good about the care and service they provide.
I called to follow up three times in the two werks after my problem didnt go away and no one called me back until I explained how utterly unaccetpable that was.
I didn't get seen until 12:50 for an 11am appointment.
That office is horrible. The customer service is terrible. I wanted to switch over primary doctor to Dr. Barrah because of proximity and reviews. The experience was horrible. His staff have horrible bad attitudes. I do not recommend this place at all.
The wait was very long but mostly because the other DR in the office had just started his vacation and Dr. Barrah was seeing both his own patients and the other Drs patients. Will judge the wait time when the other Dr returns to be fair. Dr. Barrah made up for it, however, by taking his time asking questions, listening to my symptoms and concerns and explaining preventative methods.
I felt well attended to when I was with the doctor. He answered my questions.
3rd and last time I am seeing this doctor. Second time out of 3 that the wait is more than 2h, only for a prescription refill as the pharmacy never manage to get them and i have to go in person.. seccond time I went for a pierced eardrum, he recommended antibiotics than the Specialist then told me where useless...
The Dr. Is very helpful and listens to your situation....total time leaving office 1. 1/2 hrs.
The doctor and nurse I saw were both very friendly and professional. I had to bring up some slightly embarrassing problems and they treated them politely and seriously. Only downside was that I had to wait about half an hour to see the nurse then got sent back to the waiting room to wait another 15 minutes for the doctor.
He was soft spoken and personable. He really took time to explain everything so I could fully understand why he wanted to do and the result he was hoping for.
I wait for more than 1.30 hours the 2 times, I came. Plus, I was supposed to receive by mail the result of my blood analysis the day after, I have never received this mail. I called them before my appointment to ask them to send me a copy, then never did. The idea is to force to take an appointment to have your blood analysis result because after the doctor appointment I received the summary. You can easily have an appointment because I think they over booked the schedule of the doctor. The doctor is nice and seems professional but I will definitely never come back.
Had to wait 3 hours after my scheduled appointment time to see the doctor (expect this length of wait time). Dr. Barrah then asked why I need my medication for mental illness because I'm no longer in college, and incorrectly sent two other important medications to my pharmacy. Dr. Barrah was also supposed to review the medical information I sent directly to his email before my visit, which we confirmed in person at my previous appointment, and he walked into this appointment fully unprepared. I had to go help him find the email I sent a month ago in his inbox on his cellphone. I was astonished at how unprofessional the office is.
This doctor was extremely disappointing. He has an extremely glib bedside manner that made me feel that he was not taking me seriously. He rushed me through my examination, dismissed my concerns, and pushed me into taking an allergy screening. In the end, he prescribed me antidepressants after talking to me for less than 10 minutes, and giving no information about side-effects or even general usage. I felt neglected and unsafe after this unprofessional visit, and did not feel confident enough to fill my prescription.
Always good customer service and great bedside manner!
They lost blood tests to me and ny partner, the online access to the results didnt work because the system was down and the waiting time was excessive. I ended up wasting to full mornings for nothing. They are nice people but I received so unprofessional service
Saw Dr. Barrah for a referral as well as getting some tests done. bedside manner of him and his staff was great. My only complaint is that I had to wait quite a while to see the doctor, otherwise I was treated well and quickly by the nurse/doctor assistant.
Worst doctor's office I've ever experienced. I realized that my 12:00 PM appointment was nowhere near coming to fruition when, at 1:30, the man next to me was complaining that he hadn't been seen yet for his 10:30 appointment. When I talked to the receptionist, she said that the delay was due to the doctor "getting caught in some traffic on the way there". Traffic doesn't warrant a 2.5 hour + delay.
I waited for two and a half hours after my scheduled appointment time to be seen, just to get a refill on a prescription. I also pre-filled my info on Zocdoc in the hopes of saving time, but the office had no access for some reason so I had to fill out all my forms again.
Staff was friendly and so helpful. Great place
Both doctors were great, got seen in a timely matter and the amount of attention and care that was given to me was amazing. Been looking for a good doctor for some time now, glad to have found one.
Awful on every level
Dr. Barrah was very spirited and attentive. I didn't feel rushed during our meeting. He was very kind and humorous. Will be visiting again.
I did not have to wait long to see the Doctor. The staff was Nice and Professional when I was not feeling well they treated me with Respect;and Listened to me.
It was really smooth
I waited two hours for something that should of taken 15 minutes.
Great patient centered care. Dr was thorough, caring, and did not rush.
Dr. Ben is a warm, friendly and witty gentleman. His front desk staff is friendly and helpful, as well. The wait time was reasonable... I was seen within 30min. I would recommend him without hesitation.
He was very knowledgable, professional and compassionate.
Dr Barrah and his nurses were very pleasant, efficient and professional. I'm mad at myself for just discovering this office! No complaints!
It was a great fast visit
Personable and helpful. Answered all my questions and listened to my concerns.
This doctor and all of the doctors at this office are great! Very considerate, passionate, personable, thorough, and polite. However, if you book with them, be prepared to wait a minimum of 1 to 2 hours before seeing the doctor. It's a bit ridiculous but the doctors make you feel like it was worth it. Book at your own discretion.
Like others have said, the wait time is silly. I had a 1:45 appointment, and wasn't seen until 2:20. Friendly, knowledgable service, just expect a wait.
The doctor was very very nice. I have a hard time with accents and his was quite thick. However he was very sweet and gave appropriate treatment. The wait was quite long to see him. I had a 3:15pm appointment, arrived at 3:05pm and was seen at 4:20pm. The waiting room was full and I was given priority, but expect a wait.
I love dr barrah
There was a wait but he was very personable and made the experience easy. It's not always comfortable dealing with a new doctor but he made it easy.
I waited more than 2.5 hours to see the doctor, who did not treat me with respect. I highly advise removing him from zocdoc- the office did not care that I made a prior appointment
Very attentive and the people are well mannered
Dr. Barrah was friendly and personable and took his time to figure out how to treat me and explain each medication and how it was used. Explained to me how I could lesson my symptoms. He was awesome and seemed genuinely interested in Helping. Wait was a bit long I had a 1045 appt and didn't leave til 12:15 but I would return and overall had a good experience.
Quite a wait, even though there was only one person before me. He is friendly and talkative, but their office space is very messy which always kind of makes me suspicious of how organized they are.
He is a really nice person and the staff are friendly. I felt very comfortable throughout the whole visit.
Dr. Barrah was fine but the wait was over 3 hours. Not okay.
The doctor I saw in the office crossed line with mingling religion. I was told bible stories, given quotes and my faith was called into question. in addition to that, this doctor decided that he was going to retest me for Lupus even though, less than one month ago I received chemo therapy for crashing platelet numbers.
They were very nice and quick.
Only 2 nd visit have
Waited over 90 minutes for my appointment. Very unprofessional staff at all levels. The facility was dirty and uncomfortable. Dr. Barrah, although jovial, was unimpressive. He rambled at times, did not provide a clear diagnosis, did not wear gloves during the examination and was generally unkempt. This was a horrible experience from start to finish.
Long wait time, but the nurse and doctor who saw me were both great.
I was in the waiting room for an hour before I was called. Dr. Danclar was the attending physician. He was cordial, garrulous, and a consummate professional. The young ladyat the front desk was quite friendly. I would definitely recommend this center to others. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
He was great. I felt comfortable with him. Anything I asked he answered. I will definitely be going back to see him.
I made two trips to this office in bitter cold, rainy, and snowy weather for no reason due to what appears to be a misrepresentation online. I selected this office after entering my location and insurance information on ZocDoc but when I went in, I was then told they do not accept the insurance. I did interact with the Doctor while in the waiting area (where I spent over an hr before being checked in. Upon which my file from the previous afternoon could not be located and I had to fill it out again) and he seemed very friendly, at least. However, overall, I was very displeased and quite frustrated with the situation.
Based on the high reviews on Zoc Doc I had Dr. Barrah listed as my PCP and went to him. He gave me an allergy test in February and told me that I would be receiving allery medicine within about a month. 5 weeks later when I hadn't received a followup, I called the office and was told that the allergist would call me back. I still hadn't received that call back, so 3 weeks following that I called again. The front desk told me that I they hadn't even billed for the medicine and it would be at least another months wait for it.
The staff was friendly, the nurses and doctors were great.
He's a kind doctor but what a tremendous waste of time. I left the office almost three hours after my appointment time! From showing up and being told he wasn't even at the medical practice to calling the office a week later and not being able to get him on the phone in spite of multiple calls per day for 4 days (when my question was about whether or not I should keep taking my medicine), I would absolutely not return to this practice. Very sweet but very wasteful of patients' time.
I went for my physical and he didn't even do my titers.
By far the worst experience with a doctor. Went to see Dr Barrah for 5 months hoping my experience would get better, but it just got worse. I have to see a doctor monthly due to health problems and Dr Barrah did not make them easier at all. His appointments start at 9 am, but from my personal experience the earliest Dr Barrah gets into the office is 10 am. For my last appointment – he didn’t even show up to the office! I was waiting there as people piled into the waiting room. I love the staff, and felt very badly for them this day. He needs to get his practice together and stop overbooking/being late! As for his care; he was inattentive and tried to get me out of his office quickly. On top of that, his finance department billed me for “long appointments” even though half the time I was just sitting in the room waiting for him! Even trying to switch doctors is a hassle – my new doctor has mailed/faxed/called in requests for my personal health record but his office still won’t send. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else!
I was well educated about my problem which he took his time to let me how I can help in my everyday routine. Was very comfortable thanks Doctor.
First time visit with the doctor. Seems like a nice guy. He is funny too. DJ Soundz Brooklyn's Finest
With my new insurance in place, I wanted to try a new doctor and booked an appointment with Dr. Barrah ASAP based on great reviews. I was not disappointed in the least. Waiting room was an hour, but I understood as soon as I met him. He is the most genuine, personable doctor I've ever met. In the time he spent with me, besides my health, we talked about writing, traveling and what it means to pursue your dream. Dr. Barrah is truly someone that cares about his patients and I can't wait for my next appointment.
Staff is very professional and personable. Location is easy to get to.
Excellent visit.Professional, very personable and a caring doctor. Best doctor's appointment I've had in a long time.
The waiting room was super hot. Complaints by patients was ignored. The nursing staff was rude and refused to take blood test needed for my treatment. This is a horrible office and I would never go back.
Great doc, very professional.
I went to this doctor because he specializes in dermatology. He was not interested in answering questions about my skin condition when I went for my annual exam. Then he had the nerve to charge me for additional services because I asked those questions. Will never return.
Very friendly and took the time to have a dialogue with me about my concerns. I didn't feel rushed and I felt like he addressed all of my questions. Never dismissive and took time to explain his thoughts on each issue.
He gets the job done I highly recommend him he really helps you out
I had a great first appointment and the young lady at the from desk was wonderful! Dr. Barrah was very kind, thorough and took his time. A very positive experience.
Very informative. He was attentive and was very sensitive to my needs. He has a great sense of humor.
Dr. Barrah is very personable and truly cares for his patient. The wait was a bit long but it's worth it. Highly recommend.
Dr. Barrah was great. He saw me promptly and for an extended period of time.
Listen to my issues. Was warm and pleasant. Will be going back for my medical care. Staff was very professional and caring.
Cool doctor and staff. Very friendly, nice, and knowledgeable. Facility itself is not the best, but it gets the job done.
I would never recommend Dr. Barrah. He made me take a blood test so that he could prescribe a pill over the phone and I had to pay out of pocket. I have been trying to reach him for this prescription for months and the receptionists never take down my name and he never calls me back. Completely unprofessional and I will never go back to him.
My appointment was 12:30, I saw the doctor at 3:45, got into the room and expressed how upset I was about the wait only for him to apologize and talk to another doctor about hair lost while I sat right there still waiting. Unbelievable.
one of the best doctor visits i've ever had. dr. barrah was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable.
Didn't like the wait time because I need to get lunch and back to work in and hour and a half. He seemed to know his stuff and answered my questions.
I seen Dr Danclair and Iwas very happy. He had a great demeanor and was attentive to detail and medical history I would reccomend him to my family and friends
I thought he was helpful and nice but the office was a mess. I had a biopsy on a hospital bed with books and mail and other medical supplies on it
I met with Dr Danclar. Very pleasant.
he was very professional and comforting and he has a very great sense of humor.
Everybody there was very good and the process was quick and easy.
The staff was very kind. I was seen right away(didn't have time to watch the big screen TV) The Doctor was very thorough and he had an excellent bedside manner. I look forward to my next visit.
I'm not a person who like doctors offices but because of how I was treated it really changed my mine about going to the doctors thank you very much
Professional and efficient
Caring staff, very personable. They treat me like a person and not a number and know me without reading a chart. A wonderful experience visiting the doctor every time.
very kind, very informative.
Everyone at the office were great!
Very professional courteous and thorough
Aside from the longer-than-expected wait, I had a pleasant and professional experience in Dr. Barrah's office (though I didn't see Dr. Barrah himself). Despite an insurance snafu, he was sympathetic to the pain I was experiencing and gave me good advice to seek out another opinion and more X-rays.
I appreciated that I saw the md at my appointed time and the whole experience lasted an hour instead of the usual 3-4 hours. I was happy with my experience.
He was so nice and with such a positive attitude. I was hesitant about making my appointment even though I needed to see an allergist badly , because the wait time and the doctors I've had at down state hospital are terribly rude . But he was well educated and listened and offered helpful solutions . I'm actually excited to visit again ! Thanks Doc.
I will never visit this office again. I went to be treated after an accident. I waited over 2 hours to see a doctor. Once I was put into a room, tracking the doctor down to actually focus on my needs was next to impossible. As follow up I needed documentation completed for work and have been getting the run around for 2 days regarding having papers signed. Unfortunately I have to make another appointment just to be able to sit down with the doctor and have my paperwork completed so I don't get fired for being out of the office for so long. Stay far away from this place.
Visit with Dr. was great, oddly enough it was the nurses who didn't provide privacy when answering initial questions (left the door wide open). It was a quiet office, so no one was around, but I still would have expected some sort of privacy.
Thorough first consultation and great bedside manner. Initial visit adressed all my concerns and I was referred right away to a specialist, who was also great. I feel very confident working with Dr. Barrah and his team.
Excellent informative pleasant and attentive to my needs as a patient.
There was a bit of a wait, but that's to be expected at a city doctor, I think. Dr. Barrah was warm and welcoming, went over relevant medical history and addressed my concerns.
General medical advice was fine, but bedside manner not so much! He answered his personal cell phone in the middle of the consultation!
Dr. Barrah was easy to talk to, knowledgable and seems to really enjoy working with patients. On top of that he had a great sense of humor. His nurses were similarly exceptional. Wait time wasn't bad at all, considering it was my first visit.
Dr. Barrah is very friendly and warm. Took time to address my concerns. The wait was a bit long, but all the staff were very nice.
I had an overall great experience at Dr. Barrah's office. The staff was very warm, friendly and helpful! Dr. Barrah himself was delightful! He was genuinley concerned and extremely informative. I left feeling like an importamt patient not just a number. I would reccomend him to anyone!
Filthy office, waited THREE HOURS FOR AN APPOINTMENT. They just let you book online regardlesss of whether they have an open spot. Got blood drawn in a filthy room. No one knew what was going on, they kept me waiting for THREE HOURS. I offered to just leave if they couldnt fit me in, but instead they just told me to stay over and over again for THREE HOURS. My appointment lasted five minutes. Barrah was really nice, but didnt even removed the wart i needed removed, instead prescribed a cream which was not available in generic, so I couldn't afford it anyway. So at the end of the day, those THREE HOURs were a total bust. DO NOT GO HERE
He was thorough but I felt a little rushed as he was in high demand.
He was a good/friendly doctor -- but he suggested blood work and his office coded it incorrectly, so I might be charged a lot. I'm hoping that we can recode it so I don't owe a ridiculous amount to the lab.
He easy going, and very professional. He gives really good advice. And shows that he cares about his patients.
Some of the loveliest staff I've encountered in a medical office.
I was very satisfied
It was super fun! Awesome staff, very patient and welcoming. Also, they're super friendly, the doctors made me laugh!
He listen n make you feel welcome.
Went to see the internist doctor then was to to give my primary care doctor an switch to him if he was to see my daughter to treat her for acne my daughter was sad who had terrible acne an to be told this on the day of the appointment was grave
Wow, Dr Barrah was amazing. He is such a welcoming person. He makes you feel very comfortable and makes sure you arent nervous at all. He was so thorough, that i was amazed that such doctor's still existed. He will definitely be my PCP from here on.
It was a good visit. I did not have to wait long. Everyone was very nice and professional.
it is always very packed and crowded in there.
Doctor Barrah is a great dermatologist! I have some very bad dark spot on my skin and Dr Barrah knew right away what my issue was. He explain in detail the cause and how we can move forward on resolving my skin condition. I am so happy that I have Dr Barrah as my dermatologist! Thank you Dr Barrah!
After filtering the website for doctors that would accept my insurance and filing out all the forms online, when I got the reception desk, they told they didn't take my insurance and that "there's a lot of insurance that the website shows that we don't take". When I asked why is that and why are they wasting people's time, the receptionist gave me the shoulders. I had my appointment for 1:15pm, only got seen at 2:30pm. Dr. Barrah first sent a student to see me, who guessed what I had wrong, then Dr. Barrah came in and did a proper consultation. Dr. Barrah was very nice himself and knowledgeable.
Very personable and informative. Gave me information about having healthier skin as well as some options for scar removal.
I was very comfortable The Dr was nice the staff was nice it was a general check up they did what they were suppose to do and got me out of there
Overall the visit was good, but the staff is a bit unprofessional. The receptionist came into my exam room, because the door was never closed only to ask the nurse if someone drank her soda, like what?! On top of that I wasn't even seen by Dr. Barrah another doctor that works under him took me, but I did demand to at least meet Dr. Barrah and I did, he seemed nice for the brief time we spoke. I have to go back for some test results, not the cleanest place but it was the most convenient for me to go. Probably won't be back after that.
Great doctor. Only doc able to treat my ailment effectively.
It was good. I received all my answers in a proper way and manner.
Clean. Professional. Great personalities. It was a very comfortable setting.
He was very attentive and had a nice sense of humor. His staff was very laid back and got everything done for me in a timely manner. I was a new patient so I had to go through a few steps but it was great for the most part.
Awesome! The whole staff is pleasant and helpful.
Receptionist were really nice allowed us to go and grab a bite while we waited. The wait was a little excessive but not to shabby. The Dr answered all of my questions. So overall a great visit.
My experience with Dr. Barrah was very professional. His bedside manner, knowledge, and level of compassion are all satisfactory. I plan to recommend him to my friend who's been looking for a doctor.
From the receptionist to the Dr.,everything was professional.
My visit was wonderful and he's very nice doctor
Very nice professional doctor
The office has a severely dated feel to it. Of course, I wasn't there for a spa treatment, but the fact that my allergy test was administered in a room with questionable leftover food laying around makes me not want to go back.
Compared to other doctors I've visited, he is the most knowledgeable doctor I've ever met.
I'm normally not a review writer, as I usually like to give people the benefit of the doubt...maybe it was an off day etc. However, I'm writing this so that others can have a more informed decision when deciding whether or not to go here. This was the worst doctors experience I've ever had. At the time I was sick and of course furious, but looking back it's almost laughable how bad this place was. Upon walking in, the front desk staff had no idea where his office was. Nurses kept calling me Lauren, my name is Monica. The rooms were very dirty. The nurse wrote my vitals on an alcohol swab package!!! She kept asking me to sit on the bed, which did not have a fresh sheet on it, and had someone's chewed off fingernails on it. I waited for over two hours...then the nurse came in and said "I think the doctor has stepped out of the building"...I waited more. I told the doctor what I thought I had, and he never looked at me or tested it to confirm, just said "Ok, well I'll treat you for that....and we'll see how you're doing in two weeks" He then answered a personal phone call in my room while I sat there waiting. Don't get me wrong he was nice, just maybe not the most professional. He claimed he sent in my prescription, however upon arriving at the pharmacy I was told he never sent it in! I called his office and they said they'd get back to me. After not hearing from them I called back, they answered but said they were closed....I told them one of the receptionists said she was going to call me back. She asked who I was, and then tried to tell me I never had an appointment that day. After telling her the exact time I was in she said "oh, ok...hang on"...eventually they sent my prescription. But it seriously was like pulling teeth just to get my prescription filled!!!! It was awful....I will NEVER return.
Dr. Barrah was very easy to talk to. He was knowledgeable about my symptoms and was able to give me a quick diagnosis. The staff is friendly and pleasant. I'll definitely return.
Very courteous, respectful and professional. Special mention to Mr. Danclar who apparently loves to bring levity to the office and clients with his particular brand of humor. Very pleasant staff as we'll.
Everyone is friendly and helpful. Very personable. I can make a same day appointment and get seen quickly. Both doctors are easy to talk to about uncomfortable situations.
He was ok, he knows his work, a little hypo. Otherwise he was good, but this is my first visit so time will tell.
The visit was excellent with Dr. Barrah, but the wait time was long. He provided me with the attention desired and I would definitely be making another appointment with him.
The personal care I received was very thorough and informative. The office space was clean. The supporting staff were friendly.
Friendly & funny! If you don't like doctor visits (like me), he will surely lift your mood some & make you feel at ease
This Doctor is much more thorough and more knowledgeable than any other primary doctor I've seen in my life. His team were all pleasant.
I loved this doctor, he's my PCP now.
Very kind, younger doctor asked all the important questions before I went in to see Dr. Barrah. They were both very friendly and knowledgeable.
I would definitely come back, being that's it's only a couple blocks from my apartment. Friendly staff and knowledgable doctor.
Very nice doctor. Very funny.
I always feel comfortable and safe at this doctor's office...
I was 20 minutes late and was seen immediately. There were some issues with my insurance that the nurse handled while I spoke with the doctor. No one rushed me and everyone was super pleasant, friendly and upbeat. Drawing blood went smoothly. Setting up my follow-up and getting a referral was easy. Definitely glad to have found my permanent PCP.
Forgot my followup appointment and subsequently did not order the materials that he needed for it. Had to take a half day at work to make the appointment which was just a waste of my time. Subsequently found a different doctor on ZocDoc that was efficiently able to address my needs. Avoid this doctor if you value your time.
Dr. Barrah, is a nice person, easy to talk too, well proffessional mannered. He lustens to your needs, allows time for asking questions, explains symptoms. I would refer others to hin, as well.
He is thoughtful to an extent, but I think he is limited by the usual administrative issues we see in most practices. A lot of his patients are elderly, obese, or disabled, and therefore seem to see him regularly, where each morning became a race to get on the sign in sheet, therefore rendering an appointment time as useless. Maybe I wasn't clear enough, but there were occasions he didn't seem to pay attention to all of my asks (ie a physical, or some other issue) and wanted to move on quickly. He also didn't seem to review my zocdoc information I filled out beforehand with some of those concerns. Otherwise with the one topic we did discuss in detail, he was rather engaged and helpful in explaining line by line as to the lab reports we were looking at.
The visit with the doctor was awesome, but the wait was too long.
He was very polite and very informative. Will see again!
I waited for almost 45 minutes and when I got into the room the physical took 5. Dr. Barrah was very dismissive and did a very quick check up that seemed not very thorough. I was forced to come back 2 times after that fact to have paperwork signed and to have a TB test read. Each time I was forced to submit my insurance card and was charged a co-pay even for a signature stating that I received my physical. I will never go back to this office again!
He put the wrong NPI number on my prescription so I couldn't get it filled because it was an invalid doc number. ..they called him and he refused to give me anything. I spent money on my copay, was there for 2 hours and had to travel and wait in a lot of pain for nothing!
Overall, my first visit was a positive one with Dr. Barrah. He understand what I am trying to accomplish in my healthcare needs. Records are done electronically, which was a first for me to see and the front staff was very professional. Looking forward to having Dr. Barrah as my PCP.
He needs an assistant, the wait time is horrendous. There is a sign in sheet, so it almost doesn't make sense to have an appointment. It turns into first come first served. He is overworked and the appointment feels rushed.
The waiting room is dingy and the staff are unpleasant. The doctor is late almost every morning - the first appointment I had, I waited over an hour. The second appointment, I walked out after two hours of waiting, with no apology from the staff. Deplorable. I do not understand why anyone thinks this an acceptable way for a doctor's office to be run. They should be ashamed.
Wait today was unusually long but service was ultimately satisfactory.
Apparently their office isn't notified of ZocDoc appointments, so it's probably necessary to call them and confirm. I never got a confirmation re: the appointment I scheduled online, and the had no knowledge of it. They got me in the same day, anyway, and were surprisingly pleasant about it.
Its ridiculous how bad the experience was. It was so bad that two Employees complained to me how bad the entire office was and recommended that I find another Dr. Wait times were also abominable
A nightmare. Just, a nightmare.
I have seen Dr. Barrah before because he is my PCP. I enjoyed this visit better than the last but I think he is a great doctor. He is very knowledgable in his field and the best thing is that he speaks to his patients. He makes you feel like he cares. He is also my mother's PCP and she LOVES him!!! She recommended him to me. And a previous med assist in another dr.'s office lit up when I mentioned he was my doctor. He is a great doctor, no question about it. He is not very serious. If you feel down, the moment you see him , you will feel great. He also has such a great staff. It is very rare to come across a doc's office where the employees don't send your blood pressure through the roof. Great ladies! MY major problem with him is the wait time. I am not a very patient person, but even the most patient person would agree that his wait time is ridiculous. But he does spend his time with his patients.
Dr Barrah was very courteous and apologized for the long wait time. I think I had the last appointment for the day. He explained a lot to me and seemed to take his time to make sure I understood. I would be happy to recommend him and think I have found my new doc in Brooklyn.
It's was great
He was really damn good. Very helpful, respectful, kind and I think over all worth the wait.
felt like part of the family loved the whole staff!
It's so rare to see a doctor who is friendly and yet still professional. He was polite and respectful towards my concerns.
I would never go back and advise other patients to find another derm.
Dr. Barrah has a great demeanor and a pleasant bedside manner. His PA Melissa was extremely intelligent and professional as well. I definitely recommend Dr. Barrah to any and all!

Dr. Barrah was an extremely attentive and keen physician. He carefully listened to my questions and concerns and gave me direct and informative decisions. It looks like I will be switching over and making him my official general doctor.
I was helped as soon as I checked in with Dr. Barrah. Good experience with this Dr.
This doctor made inappropriate and judgemental comments about decision to have sex before marriage.
he is tryin his best to find out what's wrong with me.treat me like family
Dr. Barrah was thorough and professional. He took the time to listen to concerns and took a detailed history.
It was a long wait but it was worth it. He is a great doctor and he has a very nice staff
Great Doctor, genuinely concerned about me!
Very thorough, knowledgeable and nice. The staff is super friendly as well. You will probably wait before the doctor sees you but this is no different than any other doctor I've ever seen. In my eyes, it means he is spending the necessary time with each of his patients.
Doc seem well knowledge
What a nice dr, staff there was very nice and kind and friendly, so was the dr, i would definitely go there again, the wait time was long, an hour and a half past my scheduled appointment, but the facilities were VERY clean, the dr was very professional
