My name is Lili Rose (she/her). I’m a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) working with patients in the Washington, D.C. area and in other regions via telehealth. I am pledged to being a Health at Every Size (HAES) nutritionist, which means I will never tell you what size your body should be. I guide clients to eat as ‘intuitively’ (true to their own hunger cues) as feels comfortable for them; to help you to get away from spending your life focusing on counting out what you eat.
I can help with a variety of medical diagnoses including heart-related, kidney-related, stomach and gut-related, and blood sugar-related. I work with adults and children.
For those managing diabetes, prediabetes or gestational diabetes (pregnancy-related diabetes): I am a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) and I can help you learn how to manage your blood sugar without crushing your spirit.
In private sessions I work with people looking for advice in managing their prescribed therapeutic diets, as well as those looking for advice into nutrition basics and how to feel confident and comfortable with food. I do this from an anti-diet perspective. I will not be assessing your measurements - no heights, no weights, no measuring tapes. These things do not help you to build a good, sustainable relationship with food, eating and your precious body.
