Dr Bruce was awesome. I'm so glad to have found her through ZocDoc. Her staff were super nice as well. Usually, doctor's visits are so impersonal...but not with Dr. Bruce. She genuinely seems to care.

Liliana Uribe-Bruce, MD, is a caring and detail-oriented clinician, committed to empowering patients through education and good communication. Dr. Bruce’s extensive medical training, warm demeanor, and bicultural background facilitate interactions with patients, families and healthcare providers.
Dr. Uribe-Bruce grew up in Bogotá, Colombia, where she obtained her medical degree and completed her first Internal Medicine specialization at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. She moved to the United States in 1994, completing a second Internal Medicine specialization at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL, and a combined clinical and research sub-specialization in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center (NIH), the world’s leading biomedical research center, in Bethesda, Maryland. Her passion for advancing patient care led her to pursue a Master’s in Clinical Investigation at The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, CA, with emphasis in community health education, ethics of medical informed consent and genetics of obesity and diabetes. Her clinical research work has been presented at major scientific meetings in the US and abroad. Dr. Bruce is a Voluntary Clinical Instructor in the Family Medicine and Public Health Department of the University of California-San Diego, and a Scripps Volunteer Physician, mentoring medical students and residents caring for patients in free clinics in San Diego County.

Went recently and waited over 90 minutes to see the dr. I find it to be extremely disrespectful of my time. Everyone was nice, but if it happens again I'm not going back.

There was a mix up with getting to the right office for my appointment, but luckily, Dr. Uribe's office went above and beyond getting me to the correct location and Dr Uribe saw me right away! Wonderful staff!!

Dr. Liliana was great! Very intelligent, extremely thorough, and made both myself and my wife feel confident in her diagnosis. There was a slight mix up with the receptionist and her regarding our scheduled time, yet not sure who was responsible, either ZocDoc or the reception center in office. Nevertheless, we were grateful to be seen the same day and with great overall outcome.
