I finished my internship and residency at the University of Missouri Health Center. I served the veterans’ population at the VA hospital. I also worked as an inpatient physician and assistant professor treating complex conditions at the University of Kansas Medical Center. I hold board certifications in both Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine.
In the past year, I have focused on “positive medicine.” This shift was motivated by patients’ need for more comprehensive care. Here, a physician considers the whole body and lifestyle to prevent diseases rather than treating them afterward. I believe the best care is personalized, compassionate, and holistic.

Dr Haj is an excellent physician, He is very thorough, he takes his time and listens to his patients concerns and learn about their medical history before jumping to treatment which is very refreshing in this day and age. Cal is very caring and personable, he always treat me like a family member every time I see him for an exam. I’m very glad I finally found a great doctor I can trust with all my medical needs.

I had a video call appointment with Dr. Caldon, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. From the start, the virtual setup was seamless, and everything was running smoothly.
Dr. Caldon was attentive and thorough, taking the time to listen to my concerns and recommended a test immediately . What stood out the most was the genuine care and compassion demonstrated throughout the consultation. Despite being a virtual visit, I felt valued as a patient, and it was clear that my health and well-being were top priorities.
I would highly recommend Dr. Caldon to anyone in need of medical care. The level of expertise and personalized attention provided is exceptional. I will definitely be scheduling future appointments.

Dr. Haj has been my primary care doctor for the past 3 years. He is straight to the point, he asks what's going on, how you're feeling, and what you need. Everyone likes a straightforward doc who can help. I always feel like he really pays attention, trying to figure out what was up with my general health, not only focusing on medications… but also lifestyle too.. He gave me some solid ideas for getting better in general. THANK YOU DR. HAJ FOR BEING A GREAT DR.

Dr Haj is very courteous. He makes sure he is talking to the right patient and he quickly inquires about the condition, the symptoms and the needs. I had a sense he was listening carefully in order to assess the situation and reach a diagnosis. He made suggestions to solve the issue and asked if I had any question. More than satisfactory.
