I was born and raised in Kansas where I developed a love for the field of ophthalmology as an optician and ophthalmic technician while obtaining my undergraduate degree in Biology at Wichita State University. I completed medical school and my ophthalmology residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine.
As a board-certified ophthalmologist in Santa Rosa, CA, I am skilled in managing a wide spectrum of eye diseases and performing surgery of the eye including glaucoma management, cataract surgery, and minor oculoplastics procedures. I have a personal interest in aesthetics and am thrilled to have this opportunity to share my passion with my patients.
I moved to the Bay Area in 2016 and appreciate the strong sense of community in Santa Rosa and the beauty of Sonoma County. When not working with patients you will find me outdoors, taking a class at the gym, savoring a great meal or creating memories with my family and friends.
