Zocdoc claims this doctor's office takes Medicaid, but when I got there, they said they cannot take Medicaid for any procedures. They can only use Medicaid for consultation. I knew I needed a colonscopy, so I almost walked out right then. I probably should have, but I figured I might as well talk to the doctor. So he told me the same thing but when I complained that it was false advertising to say you take Medicaid when you won't be able to perform any procedures, I was told I could do a sigmoidoscopy, which is just a lesser version of the colonoscopy. Now I am wondering if I will still have to do a colonoscopy with someone else in the near future.
If you have straight Medicaid, don't go here.
Also, they are very Asian here, so sometimes communication suffers a little. Otherwise, they are nice and professional (besides claiming they take an insurance that they don't really).
