Doctor Derus was very friendly and informative. She explained the process and tests she would like to see completed so that she could make a proper diagnosis and develop a treatment plan, but also let me know if there were any tests I wasn't comfortable with or did not choose to do, she would work with me. Doctor Derus asked questions and took the time to listen to my answers. She did a brief examination in the office and gave me an opportunity to ask any questions before she left the room. She confirmed her medical assistant would follow up with me before I left to provide any paperwork I needed and go over the steps necessary for scheduling any tests and future appointments.
I did have to wait a while; however, that was not the fault of the doctor's office. Unfortunately, ZocDoc did not get my appointment information to the office in a timely matter. Also, even though I filled out all of the ZocDoc paperwork online that they recommended to save time, the office still needed me to fill out their forms, so it didn't save any time. Just a heads up for ZocDoc and the doctor's office that some fine-tuning may be needed in the communication department, but overall the experience with the doctor's office was great.

Dr. Derus was welcoming and made me feel comfortable immediately. She was thorough with her explanations and prepared a plan of treatment that will address my issues well, I think. She is one of the most pleasant professionals that I have had the pleasure of meeting.
