Getting to know Linnea Johnson
Linnea Johnson MSN, PMHNP-BC , PMH-C, started her career in behavioral health in 2006. She obtained her Bachelors in Nursing from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri and later attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City to complete her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree. She is Board Certified to treat patients throughout the lifespan and also a certified Perinatal Mental Health provider that cares for women prior to, during, and after childbirth.
Mrs. Johnson has extensive experience in treating psychiatric diagnosis such as PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, OCD, Bipolar Disorder, Substance Abuse, and Schizophrenia. Linnea has inpatient child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric clinical experience from Two Rivers Psychiatric Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, and Medical City McKinney-Wysong in McKinney, Texas. She is also a preceptor for MSN students from universities such as University of Texas, Texas Tech, Vanderbilt University, and Walden University.
Linnea is a great listener and has a passion for helping patients and families during difficult times. She will help you get on the right path mentally and create a treatment plan that fits you!
