What makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider?
I am passionate about helping others in need and making a difference in their lives.
In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs?
A primary care provider should offer preventative care and promote healthy lifestyles, both physically and mentally. It is important to actively listen to patients' needs without interruption.
Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time?
I have been in healthcare since the age of 16, starting as an aide, then becoming an RN, Nurse Manager, and now a Nurse Practitioner. I earned my Bachelor's degree from Glasgow Caledonian University and completed my Master's in Family Nursing at Texas A&M University. I love my job and am always happy to do it. I have a toddler son who takes up most of my time when I'm not working. To de-stress, I enjoy running and playing tennis.

Doctor was great but I do not recommend this “office” as a ?? millennial you think I’d appreciate them doing everything on their app. However you cannot speak to your doctor or a real person on the app. It’s all animated and it’s been over a week since my apt and I have not been able to contact my doctor or pick up my prescription due to functionally errors. I do not want to continue to see this doctor strictly due to their app/“office” communication policies.
