i thought by putting the info required by zocdoc it was enough but when i got to the office, the office had sent me paperwork to fill out(more o less the same as asked on zocdoc) and made me lose 10 more minutes by renetering the same info for the doctor's office

After my first visit today, I can tell yall was the first of hopefully not too many but definitely first of others. Dr. Linus will be my new go to doctor. I like him because he actually listens and doesn't just prescribe needless prescriptions so he's not script happy which now a days is highly refreshing. Plus ends up giving me the confidence and trust that he really is for my health and well-being. Also has a bit of cheerful humor which is also a HUGE benefit. It helps if your doctor can lighten the mood when your somewhere you rather not be to begin with.

There was another patient on my telehealth call when I logged in. It was bizarre and uncomfortable and the provider asked me if I could be called back even though I had an appointment. Would not recommend for telehealth- not sure about how experiences are otherwise.

Don’t recommend this doctor. Or this place for hiring a doctor like Akamangwa. The call only lasted 4 minutes before I had to hang up on him for being rude and unprofessional. He barley listened to what I had to say before prescribing me medication. He didn’t give me any information about it, I had to ask him questions and he only answered one of my questions. I did not feel comfortable. What got me to just hang up and cancel the appointment was because he told me to “look it up, stop guessing” because he got the wrong information on my closest pharmacy.. I was trying to tell him which one was the right one and then he said that . I told him I had severe social anxiety, and how hard just calling him was. Its like he didn’t care and just proceeded to being rude. I really thought this was going to help my mental health, finally start feeling okay again but it definitely made it worse. never again. Don’t recommend.

They misbilled my insurance and left with a large bill for what should have been a free preventive visit, despite me calling several times to get this fixed. I am furious and severely disappointed. Be very mindful about what you talk with the doctor about because he will bill you for as much as possible. I would leave 0 stars if I could.

The doctor was 9 minutes late to a 15 minute appointment. During the 4 minutes he was on the phone he was making jokes about my disorder and making jokes about cocaine. I called the office to complain and the receptionist stated he typically has jokes where he references cocaine and not to worry about it. I stated that it made me uncomfortable (my relative died from cocaine) and requested that I do not pay for the appointment. I asked for the doctors license number and she would not provide the documentation and I could not find him when I was attempting to report. Do not go to Thai doctor.

"Recently, I endured five months of relentless abdominal and flank pain. Seeking relief, I turned to Dr. Linus Akamangwa in Colorado Springs. After ordering blood work, for B12 and D he flat out told me that couldn't pinpoint the pain cause, has no idea of whats wrong with me, doesn't know what specialists I might need and he is suggesting a psychiatrist and a book called 'Sacred' for treatment?. This unconventional voo-doo approach left me with mixed feelings and a search for a new GP. Despite our shared Christian faith, I'm exploring alternative medical healthcare options."

I was looking for a new GP as mine is in Denver and I live in the springs and my wife came across Dr. Akamangwa. I made an appointment on Saturday and brought my medical records and Dr. Akamangwa met me on Monday. Yes his office and staff are working in a Christian office environment so if your not a fan of a Godly Dr. using the gifts God gave him then he isn't the medical Dr. for you. however if you want a competent medical dr. who listens first then speaks and applies his medical knowledge then he is the dr. for you. He did not watch the time and had me believing that he truly does care about your health and with the declining medical field it's a blessing.
