Layne began her career as a Registered Respiratory Therapist with Children’s Hospital Colorado and then traveled throughout the U.S., caring for patients of all ages. After seven years as a respiratory therapist, she pursued her passion of providing all-encompassing medical care by completing a PA (physician assistant) program here in Colorado and then worked in rural Washington state for four years. In 2019, Layne returned to Colorado and has since worked as an Advanced Practice Provider in multiple urgent care settings, a large nationwide Direct Primary Care practice, as well as a private family medicine practice in Castle Rock for the past few years. She is excited to be a part of the local medical community and establish lasting relationships with her patients. She is a passionate provider seeking to always provide patients with an open conversation about how to improve their health and enjoy life to the fullest. When she’s not working with patients, the avid Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas Jayhawks fan spends time with her husband, young son, and their dog. Together, they travel and enjoy the outdoors: running, hiking, biking, fly fishing, camping, skiing and watching their son play ALL the sports
