For my first visit, the initial paperwork and wait time took less than 20 min. Dr. Lisa was incredibly thorough and patient. She listened to my concerns and mapped out a treatment plan I was comfortable with. I wasn't in a particular rush but you may want to allot at least 1 hour and 30 min for your visit in case you need to make arrangements ahead of time. The credit card machine had some issues but it was resolved in less than 10 minutes. I will be returning again in 5 weeks for my follow up. I would highly recommend.

She was very informative and her way with clients is wonderful. Time management is a challenge. Staff was great! Office is very old. There are not many Doctors/Specialists who will actually take the time to inform you, she is definitely not the norm and for that I am grateful. Definitely will recommend her!

Dr. Lisa M. Castellano-Howard is a native of Tampa and has been in practice at this office since 1998. She graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Psychology.
She then went to medical school at Bowman Gray School Of Medicine at Wake Forest University, graduating in 1992. She completed two years of Internal Medicine at Tampa General Hospital followed by three years of Dermatology at the University Of South Florida College Of Medicine.
She is board certified in Dermatology and specializes in the treatment of skin diseases and skin cancer, including performing skin cancer surgery and cosmetic procedures. She assists patients with proper skin care and sun damaged skin treatment.
She also does laser surgery of the skin, treats sun damaged skin, photo facial laser surgery, Botox™, Restylane™, Radiesse™, and vein therapy with the laser. She treats both children and adults.

If you are looking for a Derma in the Tampa area, I do not think you can find much better than Dr. Lisa Castellano-Howard. The visit was time efficient, and sensitive to my schedule. Her Front Office Professional was incredibly nice, energetic, and helpful. The waiting area is very comfortable.
I found myself laughing and learning within seconds of meeting her. With Lisa's professional background and absolute beaming personality, it is easy to 100% recommend Lisa and the rest of the crew.
Above all else...I walked into a doctors appointment and left happier than I came.

Pretty much disregarded my concerns of my own skin, and had the answers without even looking at my skin. She took a couple pictures and let me know my heritage through my bone structure which was interesting, however never received the help I needed. Spent money on visit, money on medicine, signed me up to a some prescription medicine, and still did not receive what I needed. Going to another doctor to hopefully find a cure for my skin condition.

Lisa, is a very knowledgeable doctor. She is very easy to talk too and she listens to everything you have to say. She knew exactly what I had, gave me the right treatment and wouldn't you know my symptoms (which I had for 1yr) went away over night. I'm healing and on the mend thanks to her.

Dr Castellano-Howard showed a genuine interest in listening to all the details of my symptoms. She made me feel heard and I can't stress enough how much I appreciate that. She explained in great detail what was happening with my skin problem. She assured me that we will devise both a short term plan and a long term resolution to get me better. I left feeling thankful that I had met her. Definetly one of the best Dr-Patient experiences of my life.
