Dr. Eng received her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed a one year rotating internship at Lutheran Medical Center prior to completing a four year residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Lutheran Medical Center. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, and founded New Life Ob/Gyn Group, LLP in 1995. She is presently the president of Brooklyn Gynecological Society, the Vice-Chair of the Brooklyn Section of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is the Residency Educational Coordinator for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, at Lutheran Medical Center, has chaired the Task Force on Cultural Competency for the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is the chair of the Political Action Committee for the Association of Chinese American Physicians. She has lecture extensively for national, local and regional organizations, and community organizations, including the Red Hot Mamas, local churches and the Department of School Health for the City of New York.

As much as i liked Lisa (i've been two times), she as well as her office staff were too rushed in my opinion. I also had issues with the long wait time (more than an hour both times, with the actual checkups lasting no more than 10 mins) a delay in receiving test results (took 3 weeks instead of 2 for blood tests), and poor communication by the front desk receptionist. I am not a high maintenance person--i understand medical offices are generally crazed and short on time. I will not return to this office because i don't like feeling as if i've been lost in the shuffle, especially from my OB-GYN.
