About Dr. Sharon Rogoff

Dr. Shira Rogoff, a lifelong member of the Brooklyn community, received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Touro College and University System in New York, NY, where she published research in the Maternal Neonatal Journal of Medicine on antibiotic prophylaxis in labor. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Maimonides Medical Center, where she served as chief resident for education.
Her areas of interest include obstetrical health and labor/postpartum support, as well as routine gynecology. She values the doctor-patient relationship and sees it as key to maintaining wellness in pregnancy and beyond. Outside of work, she enjoys the outdoors, reading, and spending time with her husband and son.

Dr. Rogoff was so kind and professional, but I had an urgent issue that needed to get dealt with insurance wise, and she told me to reach out to her the following day about it so we could get it sorted. The next day I reached out and was informed she was not in office! It was a time sensitive matter, so that was very upsetting, the fact that she told me to reach out and then was absent and non-responsive. I won’t be returning.

I ended up seeing Dr Alter and she plus the entire staff were amazing !!! The doctor was so kind and warm and patient and she answered all of my questions… Everybody made me feel really comfortable to be there for my first appointment. I texted all of my friends to switch to this OBGYN because it was such a wonderful feeling.. highly recommend !

I’ve never felt so compelled to write a review before, but doctor Rogoff was so wonderful. I felt so taken care of and received such a high quality of care during my appointment. I was seen quickly and even though the appointment was super thorough, I was in and out in 30 minutes. The office staff were not quite so friendly, and I received an inordinate number of calls and emails asking the same questions over and over or playing a robo reminder about the appointment. Overall I definitely recommend.

I booked a appointment online on Zocdoc and when I get there, the clinic was closed. They even text me a day before my appointment about the confirmation of my appointment and the day above on the appointment it was supposed to be did text me and confirm the appointment I confirmed again and when I went to the clinic, the clinic was closed. Very unprofessional. Very very very unprofessional thing even online. It was shown that the clinic is open but when I went there Clinic was closed ?

I really like Dr. Rogoff -- she's personable, efficient, and transparent. I switched from my last doctor (who I liked) primarily because I needed a gyn office that was better run, and I really feel I get that with this group. Sure, there's an occasional wait time in the office, but overall it's a friendly, helpful bunch, and Dr. Rogoff in particular has great bedside manner!

I had a wonderful experience with this doctor. I had a few follow up questions after my visit and she answered all of my questions. Really wonderful care from everyone on this team- Dr Rogoff (who I believe now goes by Dr Shira) was kind, listened to my concerns, was very knowledgeable and explained without condescending. The phlebotomist, nurses and reception staff were all wonderful as well. I’ll definitely make this my go to ob-gyn clinic from now on!
