I have been seeing Dr. Lisa and the other dedicated professionals at the Kaplan Center for over 15 years. She is my "go to" doc for exercize and joint problems. I particularly like her integrative approach to medicine and the positive impact her experience as an athlete has on her view of what "feeling well" means to another athlete. I have recommended her to others and expect to keep doing so.

I felt the doctor was engaged in what I was telling her. She asked questions no other doctor had asked before. She was very thorough in taking my past & present medical information. I thought her orders for testing were appropriate for my age and more thorough than my previous PCP.

Lisa Lilienfield, M.D., is board-certified in family medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture. Dr. Lilienfield also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Georgetown University School of Medicine’s Department of Community and Family Medicine.
At the Kaplan Center Dr. Lilienfield practices Acupuncture and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine and has developed an expertise in both Women’s Health and Sports Medicine. She uses her special training in neuroanatomic acupuncture to treat cervical thoracic and lumbar disc disease. Many of Dr. Lilienfield’s patients are women who are trying to conceive and see Dr. Lilienfield for acupuncture, hormone replacement therapy, and OMT.
In addition to providing conventional gynecological services, Dr. Lilienfield provides women with counseling and treatment for hormonal imbalances through the use of natural hormone replacement (bio-identical hormones) and alternative thyroid medications. Recently Dr. Lilienfield was recognized by Fifty Plus Magazine as an “Exceptional Physician” for her holistic approach to medicine.

I came to Dr. Lisa w a very sore neck/head She took a very comprehensive history, calmed my fears about serious problems. She treated me w manipulation acupuncture. I felt better within hours and was 100% 2 days later

I felt like the doctor really listened to what my problems were which in turn, she treated me appropriately and the treatment worked because she got to the root of the problem and although there were excercises I had to do on my own, it fixed my problem. Now when I feel the same pain, I refer to my excercises and that usually fixes it. Definitely worth the cost.
