Dr. Mustafa was personable, nice and very knowledgeable. My only problem was with the wait time. The office was not crowded, but it took over an hour to get to a treatment room. It may be a staffing or a scheduling problem, but it's is an issue that should be addressed to remove that 'clinic visit' feel.

Dr. Mustafa joined Capital Orthopaedic Specialists in 2015. He earned his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in 2006. During his medical education, he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed his orthopaedic surgical residency at Howard University and went on to complete a fellowship in Adult Reconstruction and Replacement Surgery of the hip and knee at Triangle Orthopaedic Associates in Durham, NC. Dr. Mustafa is board eligible and is a candidate member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Mustafa’s approach in taking care of patients is to treat them as if they are family. He is dedicated to helping them achieve their desired activity level and to improving their quality of life.
