Dr. Loren Hensley earned her undergraduate degree at the University of South Florida and her medical degree from Michigan State University. Dr. Hensley is the owner/physician of Hensley Medical Group that is based in Wesley Chapel, FL. She specializes in all aspects of primary care and internal medicine. After completing her medical degree she completed her residency in internal medicine at Garden City Hospital in Michigan and is board certified through 2026.
Dr. Hensley has 18 years of experience and welcomes patients for the treatment of a range of chronic and acute conditions including diabetes, hypertension, and thyroid disease, as well as acute illnesses of sinus infections, influenza, and urinary tract infections. Dr. Hensley also performs PAP testing, allergy testing, flu and strep testing, and urine testing in office.
Dr. Hensley's believes that medicine can be done better by treating all patients as if they are family and is expressed by the office motto of "The care you need when you need it".

I was actually looking for a one stop shop like Think in Nebraska but, Dr. Hensley was great. Needing a doctor right away didn't give me the chance to look for the type of doctors office I was looking for but I'll stick with her. She sent in my prescriptions right away checked my Walgreens app right after I went for my X-rays and they were in. Even if I move further away she would still be worth the drive.

She has a fantastic bedside manner, she did not rush me, she took the time to ask questions, learn about me and my medical history, and I was so comfortable with her in the office. Her staff is amazing, as well. I think this may have been the first time that I ever got to a doctors office and got in before my appointment time I’m so happy that I have chosen her as my primary care provider!

Dr.Hensley was wonderful. I came in for a specific issue and she made connections to other issue I'm having and made sure to check for things that previous doctor's didn't bother to. I'm excited to get to the bottom of why I feel so poorly and am confident she will get to the bottom of it all.
